Great solution for a gas’s fireplace. Easy to use and works great!

This 14-20 mesh silica sand is perfect for a 50/50 mixture or 60/40 mixture of peat moss/silica sand for carnivorous plants. I use the mix in both 2" and 3" pots. The silica sand is small enough to mix properly with the peat without looking like large boulders.

It is what it is but it is too expensive in my opinion. And if you're buying this to put into the bottom of a round free standing fire pit 30+ inches, you're gonna need two bags (20lbs) of this and that'll run around $50!, almost half the cost of the fire pit!

The quality was good I thought it was going to be grainy sand but they were small stones which worked out better. The color was great as well added a nice Tuscan look to the fire pit. I should have ordered more than 1 bag though to gwt the full look I wanted.

Sand pieces or approximately 3 to 4 mm, less messy and much prettier than the normal sandpit sand

10 pounds isn’t as much as you would think. Had to buy a second bag. But does the trick for the bottom of our fire pit!

This is exactly what I as looking for. Just a little courser than regular sand. It’s just a little bigger grains.
