One-Way Perforated Vinyl Privacy Window Film Adhesive Glass Wrap Roll (0.5ft x 54 Inches)

I have new neighbors and they took down the privacy fence the previous owners had. Their tv room windows were right outside my bedroom windows, so if they were working on their yard or sitting in that room they were looking right in my house. I did not want to keep my blinds closed all the time. This was the perfect solution. Easy to install (I used windex, not their solution). There are lines on the back to help cut a straight line. If I stand back from window I can see out and the light comes in nice and filtered. If you stand right next to the window however, you can't see out well. No problem there except I was hoping to put it on my front windows too but can't because the dogs cant see out. From the street it looks like I just have blinds closed. Very happy. I added a few pictures. The first is how it looks outside, like a shade. The second is if you look out window standing close to window, hard to see out. The third is a window in back of house where I just covered half the window and you can see how nice you can see out. It’s dark because it is pouring down rain. Which lets you also know it stays on even when raining. It was on window for awhile before it rained

sticks very well . If you get wrinkles they will have to stay because its very hard to peel back and relay it. We put it on a skylight in a bathroom. Works well to keep heat out and let light in.

My front entry storm door already had some reflective LVT 95 film on the inside, but it was aging, not cut properly, time to replace. I chose this roll because it fit the pane area perfectly. I only needed to cut it in half, because there are two separate glass panes. The top pane lowers (with an integrated screen in the door). The bottom pane is stationary. The film was easy enough to apply once I set my mind to the task, but the sheets were relatively small. Larger sheets might be more difficult. The most difficult part was separating the paper from the adhesive back. By the time the product arrived, I couldn't remember if I needed to put it on the inside or the outside. I put one half inside and one half outside for comparison and decided that I like the white facing the outside best. This entry way door is on a covered porch so it is protected from elements and direct sun. My only concern will be the collection of pollen in the perforations and if the dogs scratch it. From a visibility standpoint there seems to be no difference looking through the black side or the white side, when you are inside looking out. Whether you are looking at the black side or the white side, you can see the same ample amount of detail on the porch. At night, I simply did not prefer the white facing inside the house. If you put this on the exterior glass, with the white facing out and the black adhesion facing in, you can still put another reflective or tint film on the inside. Since I left one piece of the aging tint film on the sliding pane, I can see that this is a good viable option. It does not impair the view to the outside too much and by having the white perforations facing out, provides additional privacy indoors from the porch. I like it a lot. If you are considering this product for windows or doors, just remember the black side is the adhesive side. I think so long as there is some protection from the direct elements it seems like you can put it inside or outside, based on your preference of what you want to look at. And it seems like it can successfully "double up" with another film on the opposite side of the glass.

If you have little, to no experience with working a product like this...just make sure you take time and not move too quickly...the perforated vinyl is literally as thin as a sheet of paper and the additional adhesive and perforations that make this product a bit awkward to work with...repositioning and wrinkles here and there will likely occur...but product is somewhat forgiving if you are patient and gentle. For my application, I was looking for a solution to stop birds from seeing their reflection in my newly-installed windows. The awning style placed the insect screen on the inside, which made the very reflective outside noticeable to some birds that were just too dumb to realize that it was not another "rival" moving in on their territory. The bird stopped slamming against my window before installing the vinyl...but come next season, I hope it works. (The added black bird decorations, was a follow up, since the plain white vinyl didn't look all that nice alone.)

This wasn't bad to put on. Seemed ok. Six months later, I go to take it off and the nightmare begins. Heat guns, scrapers, soap, adhesive removers... I want my window back. I'm HOURS into the removal and the end is nowhere in sight. Save your windows. Unless you want this FOREVER, DO NOT USE. When you just put it on, it comes off easy, but months later, it's a whole other story.

This was easy to put on and easy to take a side up to get out air or ripples...This Does tear easily, so be slow and careful on adjustments. The black side has a slight sticky. we put that side on the inside of our back car side windows (black facing outside). You can see out well while driving/riding. It says to add heat for better adhesion (which I didnt do so far). The foot x 54" was enough to fully cover our two back, side windows to help the children's eyes. I just put it on today in 56 degrees F, so I hope it stays. (The car will be warmed up soon.)

Wasn't as east to install as you would think. NOT scratch resistance. Stickyness fades.

Very easy to put on the inside of my Jeep Wrangler however, 5 inches was too much I needed three maybe but it was very hard to see out of so ripped it off threw it away and we’ll go back to the drawing board! Need something I can see through when driving!

We bought this to make eyes in our windshield and it worked amazing! It looked solid white looking in but looking out we could see perfectly!

pretty small, but enough

Its really great for privacy during the day....clear vision to see out and no one can see in...but once night time arrives, its game over. Anyone can see in as clearly as you can see out. I was under the understanding that you couldn't see in at night either, until one night I came home and could see inside, as clear as day. It is easy to apply.
