I thought if I got some vortex matting and made a sluice to catch the fine -100 gold, that it would work better.I looked around and found this Banjo Pan. Several problems solved!I got a bucket and cut out a notch so the Banjo Pan would sit underneath the Blue Bowl. So now the nugget trap and vortex matting catch all of the heavies that are not caught in the BB.I panned the tailings from this process and have deduced that I capture 99+% of my gold. Only a microscopic fraction of -100 and paper gold get through.I would purchase this again for what I use it for. I haven’t used it at the creek, but I imagine it would work well enough. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It works! *by F***P on November 8, 2016* Nice little all in one gold panfor the weekend prospector. Works fair well made and easy to use. Don't overload the pan with material as the sluice is narrow and you will wash gold out if the material is to thick. Good for quick panning areas you may be looking to mine. Would like to see additions to the pan such as 4 or 5 fine 90 degree riffels traps in the back of the pan to help with the fine finish panning work and over all speeding up the process.
