Very happy with this carport. I bought the medium size and it fits my Porsche Cayenne Coupe perfectly with room to comfortably open the door. The quality is better than I expected, the frame feels solid, and the cover material is thick and durable.Installation was fairly straightforward. It definitely goes faster with two people, but the instructions were easy enough to follow. Once assembled, the folding mechanism works well and makes accessing the car convenient.Overall, it’s an excellent solution if you need to protect your car from sun, rain, snow, dust, bird droppings, and other outdoor elements without building a permanent structure. For the price, I think it’s a great value and I’d definitely recommend it.

The “garage” went together reasonably easy and appears to be good quality (don’t believe the “2 people in 1 hour”). A nice heavy canvas cover with the inside sprayed with what looks like neoprene. The powder coat is more of a powder mist, as it cracked on every nut tighten, and I did not over tighten anything, but shouldn’t be an issue in southern Peoples Republik of Kalifornya. The biggest pain is the wedge bolts they include for attaching to concrete appear to be 14 mm and will not pound into a 1/2 hole (try to find a 9/16 masonry bit in a hardware store). Bought 1/2 inch wedgies and life is good. Separately a C5 Corvette and a 70 Mach 1 both fit nice, but a bit tight for a door opening on the vette (100” width). Overall I am happy with the garage, but am waiting to see how it holds up in the wind. I like the “no touch” of the cover on the paint. I bought it because I was tired of collecting my car covers from the neighbor’s yard after every wind event (we get 50+ mph at times). Buy the 5 year warranty that covers rips, tears and stains, as I have never seen a canvas cover last more than 3 (it will be a half price cover in 3 years). Sturdiness gets a 3 until I see a wind.Followup: Had some decent winds and a bit of rain in the spring and the cover stayed in place and kept the car dry. Exactly what I was hoping for.Update. Lowering to 3 stars as fabric ripped after 18 months. Bought the Allstate 5 year protection plan, but it does NOT cover tax or shipping costs. This means I have to buy a new cover that costs about 50% of a new garage (Ikuby charges $90 for shipping the cover).Update; Cover ripped again in just under a year. Ikuby replaced it for free. Great support by text, email or phone.

This is my 2nd Ikuby Carport system. The first one I bought more than a year ago and as you can see in the photo, it held up well. I love that it doesn’t touch your car and it protects it from the sun, rain, pollen, tree saps and dust. It has two screened windows on each side which allows air to circulate on those hot days but can be closed on those rainy days (I always keep them open). You can easily open the carport from either front or back or both (so you can easily pass through it if needed). If you need to lock it you can use the provided lock mounts but you need to drill them to the ground.It is easy to install, one can do it but it helps a lot when there are two of you as the frame is pretty big. Don’t forget to anchor it to the ground (hardware is provided but you will need a masonry drill bit and a drill if you are anchoring it to a concrete driveway), my first one went through some really heavy winds and it survived them ok.I bought the medium size first and it can easily fit large cars and crossovers easily. But for my second one I purchased the Large one and it is so big that there are lots of extra space in front and back of my car.I think this is the best solution out there right now to protect your car from the elements when a permanent structure is not possible. It is portable, removable and light. I obviously would recommend it as I bought my 2nd one.Issues? The first one I bought did not have any issues during assembly, the 2nd one there are a couple of holes that did not line up but nothing that a drill did not fix. Also after a year outside, you start to see some molds develop on the inside part of the car port as expected on anything that is exposed to moisture outside so you just clean it with some mold spray and that takes care of it. Other than those it really just do what it’s supposed to. It is a great product, it is not cheap but I think it is worth it.

1st excellent customer service. When I first placed the order, the company emailed me to confirm I was buying the right size. Turns out I was not, and they were so helpful to make sure I got exactly what I needed. It’s been one year and the car cover is still working excellent. We live in south central Texas. Heat, hail, floods, humidity, snow, we get it all. So far the cover has held up great. It stores my fathers Porsche Carrera but also he has used it for my moms Lexus suv.

Truly outstanding customer service which I will explain below. I bought this for a '72 Corvette and the car easily fit into it. I have used this for over eight months now, including over an unusually harsh winter in a mountain community that was subjected this winter to a once-in-two-decade event. The carport is extremely easy to use and I like that you can bring up just one side or both sides to the middle. I don't have to worry about swirl marks from using a car cover as this sits well away from the car and really keeps out the elements. Rain and snow did not drip through the cover.I think if we had had a normal season, this shelter would have been able to withstand it and I bought it with the regular snow load in mind, having seen from other reviews that it withstood winters back East. It is a good idea to not let the snow accumulate and I knew this when I got the cover. Unfortunately, overnight we had some serious wet snowfall which melted and then froze, creating a thick ice layer which was heavy. Even though the carport is fairly well constructed, under the weight, some of the metal pieces buckled. I contacted customer service to see I could buy replacement pieces, but instead they instantly shipped me the pieces at no charge even though they could have argued that I was at fault. I have to say that this company stands behind its product and I will be purchasing another carport sometime later in the year to protect my other Corvette.

I ordered the medium size and delivery took about a week (there were 3 boxes total). The written instructions weren’t very detailed but there are plenty of videos on YouTube that helped with assembly. It took ~2 hours to put together by myself and was a bit awkward at times. Having two people would make things a lot easier.My initial impression is very positive. The build quality is solid and I really like the design. I’ve used a car cover for years but wanted something that could protect my car from the elements without touching the paint. I decided to go with Ikuby because the footprint was narrow enough to fit in my driveway and the shape will handle wind much better than some of the other vinyl carports on the market.I live in a moderate climate and am hoping this cover will last me several years. Time will tell but so far, so good.

UPDATED REVIEW: Took this from 3 stars to 4. We've had the cover for about two and half years now. Ikuby actually reached out in regards to our complaints of not being waterproof and offered us to try their new version of the canvas cover, so full disclosure there. We haven't had any rain since receiving but will update again about that when we have a chance.We were actually wanting to replace the cover after about 2 years so the timing was great. After 2 years it had started tearing at the corner we open and close from. Then one really bad windstorm finally split the canvas pretty bad down the middle. Longer life would've been nice, but I can understand in the brutal sun and recently finding out my wife lets gravity close the cover at full speed. On the new cover we also added pool noodle pieces on that corner, and my wife now closes it gently. We'll see how it holds up, I'll update again for that.My original concerns about the strength of the frame have been laid to rest, it has been fine, both for strength and rust. I have had to re-tighten several nuts and bolts since you can't torque them down, I would recommend some loctite during initial construction.ORIGINAL REVIEWMan, what a great idea that could benefit from just a little refinement. If these problems were fixed I would gladly have paid another $100 for this shelter. I would say the ideal use case for this is a newer/nicer occasionally driven car you want to keep protected from 'most' hazards: sun, wind, hail, dust, sap, falling tree nuts/seeds; it is not reliably waterproof. We use it for a daily driver and it's not horrible, but it's definitely a tighter fit getting in/out than you're probably used to, especially if you park a little closer to the 'wall' occasionally.The 'powder coating' (I'm not convinced it's not just paint) will come off anywhere two pieces attach during assembly, even if you're extra careful aligning, tightening the hardware will take some paint. Speaking of tightening hardware, all the metal on this should be at least 1 gauge bigger for peace of mind regarding strength. Otherwise assembly isn't too difficult. If you have a nicer driveway you don't want to get rusted up, I would advise not using the supplied concrete anchors as the zinc coating doesn't look reliable, I bought some stainless drop in anchors, which also allow for the hole to be easily filled if we remove the cover.As for protection, our primary goal was protection from UV, and our neighbors 50 foot palm tree that periodically throughout the year will drop heavy seeds and sap, this cover is great for that. It has also held up to some pretty decent wind the last couple of months. Rain however finds it way through, sometimes, if that's a deal breaker for you don't buy this product. Not a problem for a daily driver, but definitely for nicer or semi collectable car owners. We are in southern California so it's not really an issue that a car wash doesn't fix after the storm passes. We also hooked a bungee cord onto the center support which holds onto the open end of the cover, this keeps it from blowing shut while gone, or worst case while halfway pulling in/out. A couple of pool noodles around the vertical frame also helps to mitigate potential damage from opening your door a little too far, very helpful for our daily use.

GOOD CONSTRUCTIONOverall quality is good surprisingly. The structure is well suited to take on heavy weather however the fabric is yet to be tested in EXTREME winds.Its sun protection factor is perfect, the over design and construction is easy to work with getting in and out of the car.UPDATE: Came back to update my review! Thoroughly happy with it. Owned for roughly a year plus in the Australian sun. Beaming UV rays that destroy car paint within 3 years max. This contraption has held up VERY WELL. Very little discolouration (if at all). It does get dirty. Mould will appear internally but easily preventable with something called “concrobium mould spray” spray that once every 3.5 months and you should be golden. The exterior may get a little mould on it but just spray diluted napisan and wash off (ask chat gpt it should help you). Overall give it 9.5/10. Yes its built in china, but by a reputable seller👍I park my new lexus in there and its never dirty, and has 0 sun damage because of this thing. (Image bellow was from 3 months ago)ADVICE: MAKE SURE TO ANCHOR THE CONTRAPTION TO THE CONCRETE BY DRILLING INTO THE CONCRETE AND BOLTING IT DOWN. This is how its designed. Wind is your enemy, but wind doesnt beat bolts (it beats sandbags so give up on that idea). Also when bolting it down flare out the long edges by about 15cm on each side. No only will this give you more space inside, but it will stop you from smashing your door on the polls when parked, and also provide better structural plantedness.For hurricane winds, close the contraption and rope the entire thing shut. Hurricane winds tear down home roofs so expect the same for this logically. Mine survived a hurricane 5 months ago by doing this. Opened it back up when it was all well and done, parked the car back in.FINALLY: if your using this for a sedan DO NOT BUY THE LARGE CARPORT its massive, so massive its embarrassing, ugly and overall looks like a fat egg. This add your looking at is for the LARGE SIZE. Make sure to purchase the MEDIUM SIZE for sedans - thats available directly on their website ‘ikuby car ports.’I returned the large in favour of the medium for this reason.

A really sturdy product and great for covering vehicles during all weather. Het to experience and high winds but its anchored down so should prove effective. Quite difficult to install as 1 person and recommend 2 people.

It worked well until a heavy Canadian winter took it's toll on it. A few heavy snow loads and the tubes that support the tent bent. The canvass also ripped in a few places. A quick repair has it standing again, but it's days are numbered.

I've had terrible winds but it stays put. Put rubber Matt's down inside otherwise the damp rises and it getsdamp inside. Bone dry if u use mats. Amazing product

The design of the frame works well however the quality of the cover is poor .It has leaked from the seams from the start during heavier rain showers . The material is starting to stiffen and it's not even a year old !I have a waterproof cover on my car when its inside the structure .Will be contacting the manufacture shortly .I contacted the manufacture and got a quick response from Edward.About 10 days after that I received a new upgraded cover shipped at their expense .Visually it looks identical to what I currently have but they claim its a better material with improved water proofing .Very impressed with their quick response and resolution to my complaint .I will update this after a I see how it performs .First UpdateI have to say that the customer service and support have been excellent .The second cover Is a lot better than the first , still leaks a bit along the seams but a lot less than before .For those of you in the snow belt my experience has been it will tolerate overnight about 18 cms of dry snow and about 10 cms of wet snow ,not simultaneously though . However I always sweep it off the next morning otherwise if it freezes you will have problems .They have sent me another cover to try and it seems to be quite a bit heavier than the previous model with handy Velcro opens on the bottom hoop to make assembly easier .Its been sunny and dry since Installed it so no real feedback yet .One of the reasons I choose this structure is that it opens on both ends . This is great if you have it in front of garage like I do and still want to move cars in and out . One suggestion is if you have all the hoops bunched up in the middle ,secure them to each other with bungee cord . This will stop them from falling down if theres a sudden wind gust .
