We had so much fun with these temporary hair colors! They were easy to apply, showed up well on my son’s hair, and were perfect for a special event and dress-up. The colors were vibrant without being permanent, and they washed out easily afterward. If you’re looking for a fun way to add some color for a party, costume, or just for fun, this is a great set to have on hand.

The color worked so much better than I expected. We used the purple for Rumi Halloween costume and put it in after we did the braid. We had to use a lot but it stayed in for 16 hours and looked amazing. It’s wet to the touch at first so be careful. It doesn’t style the hair but you can use it with another product which we did for spikes on another occasion. Washes out with a few good lather and rinse cycles.

I bought this for my daughter for her birthday and the color was great, did not drip even with increased activity, and washed out of her hair, clothes, and everywhere else I managed to get it without issue. My only problem was it gets tacky very quickly and I was unable to get a comb or brush through my daughter's hair. Luckily, I was able to mist some water onto her hair which made it easier to manage and the color did not run or fade! In the future I would probably style her hair first, paint it on the exposed hair, then dry it. Despite the mishap, I would have given 5 stars had the instructions been clearer and maybe some troubleshooting advice given.

I’m glad I didn’t listen to the negative reviews. All the color tubs were shrink wrapped in plastic and were not opened. The colors were visible on dark hair and were easy to apply on dry hair. I used my fingers and a small paintbrush for making small details. The fragrance was very mild. I thought it smelled nice. It lasted all day without “melting” and it washed out very easily with warm water without visible damage to short hair. If you want to do a funky hairdo with colors that goes on like a hair gel, then buy it.
