What's the hip measurement on these? If they arelow rise, why are they sized by waist?

Most clothing is listed with a waist measurement, even if the clothes don't actually sit at the waist; I don't know why. Asked the same thing before; no answers. But here's an average size chart for underwear if it helps at all. I am full figured/curvy and I had to go up a size for better fit. You seem to be petite. I would say go with your regular size. I truly adore these in certain colors. Super comfortable cotton panties. They do shrink - I wear a size 6 pants and bought the large panties. Super happy with them. Very soft. Good value. They don't creep.

Excellent Quality in Hard to Find Size

It has been very difficult to find X-small panties that were good quality and not terribly expensive. I am really glad I decided to take a chance and try these. I plan to buy another pack or two so I have some in stock in case these get discontinued.

I love these underwear! They fit great and aren't too boring or too exciting as far as looks go. This is my second time buying them. The only down is that sometimes the side seam starts to pull out, but I just restitch it real quick and it's no big deal. They are by far my favorite low rise underwear and I wear them everyday!
