I had to hire a plumber and electrician to install. After 1 year, the connection between the unit and the water supply hose sprung a leak. The connection is plastic. The hose is a very specific threading that is not sold in the United States. Tried to reach customer service and at first they responded asking for photos and a detailed explanation. I provided all of the documentation, including the service receipt from the plumber that came out to attempt repair. Since then, silence. No response, no help. This is an incredibly expensive item to have cheap plastic parts and zero customer service. Another issue is that it often flushes just by sensing someone walk by. I can’t imagine how much water has been wasted in the one year I’ve owned it. So disappointing. I own TWO of these units and I’m just hoping the other one doesn’t fail in the same way.
