I have been taking this product for roughly a month. faithfully. I have split the dose from 2 capsules a day to just 1 capsule for the reason of not getting any side effects, such as break outs or rashes, hives etc... I am 34 year old male with alopecia as well. I have a bad neck and shoulder and also back problems due to a car accident many years ago I bought this product to be able to grow my hair that i have left, faster and did not know it contained biotin nor i was interested in biotin. I was mainly interested in the Keratin boost. I could never fix my muscles enough to feel better. I coud'nt also fix my alopecia due to some unknown cause that the doctor's couldn't point out. Currently my back got 100% better. I no longer feel the bones htting my weak muscles in my back. The main reason i purchased this was for my hair however I will continue to use it due to the fact is that i lost weight and my back feeling better and also i see tiny little hairs growing. I am using also propecia and a topical from china for my hair to assist further. However I feel what really helped me is this product and even if my hair don't grow. I will continue to use due to better digestion and also less back aches. This product may not be for everyone however if you suffer from anything I have stated this product may help you greatly. I will continue to use this product as long as i dont get any side effects which i have not gotten for the past 1 month since i used it. Great product guys! keep it up! This is a great product at an affordable price point. At one time I was a Florida Rep for this brand before Naomi W. Our president and founder sold it to Twin Labs. With that being said. Naomi was and still is the leading pioneer in the industry and this formula is scientifically proven for success. There are many "Hair supplement" products on the market as of late. And the price points keep going up. 90$ and over100$ I'm sure they work over time. But for someone who is looking for hair support solutions on a budget. This product will surely give them the results. At a fraction of the cost. Side note: Naomi has gone on to create a new brand OMI and her hair formulation is made up entirely of this formulation plus a couple extra ingredients to set her apart. At a whopping 80$+ a bottle. So. What does that say? She knows what works and built on it. Long story short. I highly recommend this product. But remember supplements need time to work into the system to be effective. It's about the commitment. Nothing is a quick fix. Cheers to getting your locks back on track!

I started taking these about a year ago when I did something idiotic to my hair and needed it to grow out ASAP. I generally have little faith in these kinds of products but am always willing to give something a chance. I have continued to take it religiously ever since as I have found that it does seem to make my hair grow more rapidly (I have super-slow growing hair); now I don't mean an inch a day but more than before I started taking these; enough that, on a monthly basis, I have noticed a difference. One thing is for sure, my fine hair is defintely stronger and healthier. It is easier to notice with my nails; my nail tech cannot keep up with their rapid growth. Also, my toe nails used to take a long time to grow, now they grow as fast as the nails on my hands. I can take these capsules on an empty stomach and they do not make me sick. So, if you are not looking for a miracle but a realistic improvement, you will appreciate these vitamins.

I am a bariatric patient. Almost two years out. One of the jarring results is the loss of hair. I am an African American woman and I I have my hair chemically processed. With the weight loss came the hair issues. My hair thinned and began to break off dreadfully. It was awful. I started with a different supplement and it helped but after months of taking the same one, my progress stopped. I decided to switch things up. I was hesitant to purchase based on the mixed reviews. I am so glad I did. My sister in law is my hair stylist and she commented last time that I had a deep condition that she could see the difference. My thinning has reduced. My hair isn’t longer but it is so much healthier. It has a shine and weight that o have been missing. I don’t care if it is longer. I just want healthier hair. I am on bottle number 3. I was looking for a product that has keratin for my hair and nails. This was the only keratin product that Amazon sells in the form of a pill. I read all or most of the reviews and was very encouraged because most people wrote that it helped with nails and hair. Now I can't really say that yes this product does help with hair since I permed my short fine hair and it now feels and looks like a fried mop. My nails are damaged from going to the salon and they keep breaking so even if they were growing, I wouldn't know it. LOL. However, there was one reviewer that gave a positive review of this product because it helped with some muscle pain he was experiencing. I really did buy it for the hair and nails and have not seen any results but I think that maybe it is because I have only been using it for a month. Most people who had positive things to say were using the pill for a longer time so I think that if I continue to use the product, I might see benefits to my hair and nails. The REASON I will continue to use this product is because it does help with muscle pain. I found out a couple of months ago that a pain that I was experiencing in my right shoulder was actually a torn rotator cuff. Now for anyone who has a torn or damaged rotator cuff, you pretty much know that surgery generally will not fix a rotator cuff. Quite the opposite, I have spoken to many people who have had surgery on their rotator cuff and still have the pain with additional side effects, like muscle spasms. I decided that surgery was not an option. However, I was worried as the pain had gotten bad to the point where I couldn't extend my right arm at certain angles without pain and sleeping was an ordeal as I can only sleep on my right side and therefore my arms were positioned one way so as to not flare up the pain but in the morning my shoulder still felt sore from shifting in my sleep and putting pressure on that shoulder. Now the good news. After using this product for a month, I can say that the rotator cuff no longer pains me. I am not saying that I am cured but I can move my arm/shoulder with no pain and my arm is no longer sore in the morning. I am not exactly sure what ingredient is helping me with this but frankly I don't care. I have used other medication for pain management and NONE have made the pain go away so YES, I will keep buying this product. Who knows, maybe in a month or two after continued use, my hair and nails will grow but right now I am loving the fact that my rotator cuff pain is gone. UPDATE 3/22/14: I forgot to add that ever since I started taking these, I have not had any stomach issues. For as long as I can remember I have had a problem with regular bowel movement. Oh how I envy people who go everyday at about the same time (like clockwork). Since taking the pills, I go each day, sometimes more than once. It's kind of weird that this product is suppose to be for hair and nails but is actually helping me with unrelated issues. If anyone has any thoughts on why, feel free to make a comment. I'd like to see some opinions and see if this product is helping other with other issues. I am off to order another bottle.

Product Ok, very expensive for not much of a result. I noticed less hair breakage of an overprocessed hair and have been using for weeks. Maybe you need to use for an extended period of time. Though I feel it is very expensive.

This is a supplement that ACTUALLY works!! I was skeptical at first because it's hard to tell if most of the vitamins/supplements we take are actually working or if it's just making us feel better in theory... I started taking this over a year ago and noticed (after 6 weeks or so) a significant difference in my nail strength & growth and a thickening to my thin hair. I was uncertain if all this strengthening was 100% due to this supplement, until I ran out and got too lazy to reorder. I stopped taking them for 4 to 6 weeks and noticed my nails splitting and going back to being weak, my hair too. I immediately reordered some and in about 3 to 4 weeks I noticed them getting stronger again!!! It can't be a coincidence :) I would highly recommend to people who have weak nails that split easily. I have never been able to grow my nails out until I started taking these bad boys :) [2 thumbs up]

I've used this for almost a month and when I started, my hair was shedding very badly due to another hair vitamin I had purchased. Within a week of using this I noticed that the shedding decreased significantly and is continuing to decrease. I noticed today that my eyelashes have grown and I have new hairs growing in areas that were thin. It is taking time for my nails to strengthen, but my hair is most important. I have also noticed quite a bit of new growth. The first week this product did cause my face to break out, but it has stopped. I know these vitamins are pricey, but for me they are definitely worth it. Other vitamins may have more positive reviews, but be aware, those companies offer free products for good reviews.
