Gentle and Effective for Everyday Intimate Care
Iโve been using Hibiclens Antiseptic Skin Cleanser, and Iโm really impressed with how clean and fresh it leaves my skin feeling. I especially like using it for the external intimate area because it helps me feel extra clean and refreshed. A little goes a long way, and I love that it has a strong cleansing effect without leaving my skin feeling overly dry. It has also been great for my overall hygiene routine, especially on days when I want a deeper clean. The 32 oz bottle is a great size and should last a long time. Overall, Iโm very happy with this product and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a powerful antiseptic cleanser for appropriate external skin use.

Great for Puppy Wound Care
My year old Cane Corso Puppy got a terrible muzzle infection. Either for to allergies or breed specific skin conditions and this recommended wound/skin antiseptic thank God is helping to heal Her snout. I wet the infected area, then apply antiseptic liberally all over the infected area and rub it gently in. Then I leave it sit for 2-3 minutes before rinsing the entire area and drying it thoroughly twice a day. I am only on day 3, but I can already tell that the infected area is no longer angry and swollen looking. It's going to take some time, but we are on the right path now with the help of this.

Very good body cleaner
While my wife was pregnant she was very sensitive to smells, she didn't like fragrances like perfume or deodorant. So I stopped wearing deodorant and needed some way to keep my armpits from stinking and I turned to this product. I use it in the shower on my armpits and it does a great job of killing the bacteria on the skin that causes stinky armpits. After I use this I can go several days without my armpits smelling bad even if I don't use it again every day. This is what they use for pet shampoos and they use it in hospitals for surgery to kill bacteria. No idea why they don't use it in normal body soap and shampoo, maybe it's harsh on some people's skin, but it works great for me, so I've kept using it for over a year. I like that it lets me not have to use antiperspirant because that has aluminum in it that some people think might be harmful as an endocrine disruptor, so I just continue using this instead.

Essential for wound care
Absolutely essential for cleaning a burn wound. Helped enhance the healing process. Large size so we only had to order one bottle. Highly recommend.

Forget about antibacterial soap, GET THIS
Blue Collar woman here so I deal with dust, rust, grim, grease, oil, on top of sweat. On the first use and after working 12 hrs, my skin still felt super clean.

Make sure you buy a foaming pump!
Really good product and a fair price for it, but I would highly recommend you get a foaming pump to use it with. I recently got diagnosed with Hidradenitis. My skin doesnโt handle bacteria very well and itโs lead to a lot of acne and some reoccurring cysts. My doctor recommended that I get a chlorhexidine soap and start using it as my body wash. When I bought it, I didnโt realize how thin it would be, and found out pretty quick it doesnโt like to cling to a wash cloth like normal soap. The foaming dispenser more or less fixed that problem for me (the video shows the difference between the liquid and foamโs consistency). I still like to use a normal body soap to get clean, so I use this as like a last step to sanitize. If you do the same, make sure you rinse off the normal soap thoroughly otherwise it will interfere with the Hibiclens. I like to put it on and wait a few minutes before rinsing it. Iโve been using it about two weeks now and Iโve noticed my skin starting to clear up. Itโs not some magical transformation overnight, but the improvement is noticeable and hopefully it will continue to get better.

Essential for MRSA diagnosis!
My husband was recently diagnosed with MRSA, which appeared as a blister/boil on his forearm. Doctors lanced it, drained it, and put him on the proper antibiotic, but it left a deep, open wound on his arm. I mean deep, like it seemed large enough to stick your thumb in! I didn't really know much about MRSA before all this, but I've read everything I could since then. Hibiclens kept popping up in my research everywhere! I kept seeing Manuka honey praised for it's healing properties, as well as the fact that it seemed to kill MRSA. Those that had used it, swore by it. Well, now I do too!!! We started applying the honey in my husbands wound on a Friday afternoon. I did this in addition to using Hibiclens as a wound wash (in addition to using it for decolonization (see below)). I gloved, cleaned the wound, re-applied the honey, changed the bandages each day. By Monday (3 DAYS!), the wound was almost closed - no kidding! I would not have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes. We all still use the Hibiclens as our hand soap of choice now as well. **One suggestion for ease of use - go buy some cheap foaming hand soap from the store ( I got 5 Dial anit-bacterial foaming pumps from a Dollar General for under $2 each). Just pour out this soap, and replace with the Hibiclens. Hibiclens is thin, and without the foaming pump bottles, it was too hard to use, and easy to waste.** As an aside - The sad part for me is that the doctors didn't seem overly concerned - kept telling us "MRSA is everywhere now, you can catch it anywhere" .When we would ask about chance of recurrence, or spreading it it others in our household, they basically said, yes, it might happen, might not. They were not being aggressive enough in my opinion in helping us prevent this. No one ever told us about decolonizing ourselves. In my reading, I saw that the people with the most success in beating this back for good used a combination of Hibiclens wash to shower in for 10 days, disinfecting all towels, bedding, surfaces in home, and of course, the Manuka honey for wound treatment. There is also research that shows the MRSA like to colonize in the nose, so during this same time, you should also apply Bactroban in the nasal cavities each day for up to a month. This is also something that the doctors didn't tell us, or offer. When I asked about getting a prescription, he actually said, "Yes, we could do that to de-colonize the nases"! I mean, if they KNOW this will help prevent the spread and possible re-occurrence, why should I have had to ask about it at all? I swear, I am not a "conspiracy" type person, but it almost made me wonder if they are not all being so lax about this epidemic because of the incomes generated? I am sure, once all is said and done, my husband's insurance will have paid about $3000 for his treatment and follow up visits, as well as the $90 in co-pays we have paid already. What's their motive for trying to prevent this from happening again or from giving it to someone else? Take control of your own treatment plans, be aggressive in treating, and learn all you can about what you're facing. You are your family's best advocate. Good luck!

I love this soap, It is amazing for thoroughly washing sweaty places but still gentle especially when watered down and in the foaming sort of bottles. I also use it on my pet's paws and works wonder on keeping them frito toe free.
