Actually a good CDI for my 2004 62T Yamaha Superjet
My super jet had a no spark situation so I ordered this CDI unit. After owning out my old CDI unit I decided to purchase this just in case it really was bad. Installation was very easy All the wires are correctly color coded except for on this CDI unit it's a red with white stripe instead of white with red stripe. After putting it in and putting my box back together my super jet started up great and has been running good for 3 to 5 hours now! Would recommend to any 1996-2007 superjet owner (or 2008 I don't remember!)

No shut-off!!😳
CDI works, except you cannot shut-off the engine!!😰 This was a problem when I started my Superjet to test it, OUT OF WATER!! Had to yank a CDi wire to stop engine, before it overheated!!😰 Ended up adding a relay in addition to CDI, that would disconnect stater trigger to CDI, via press of kill switch. So, it was a hassle, but works with modification. If not an el ctrical engineer, I’d recommend another CDI!😉

JUNK! - ZERO STARS
Pure garbage - put in ski - started right up, problem it it won't stop. internal relay is bad, have to shut fuel off to get it to stop. 3 hours wasted checking everything twice at a difficult angle. My kids are disappointed and this failed to save our vacation. This is going back - DO NOT ORDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

**JUNK DONT BUY**
Installed on my jet ski and it started but would not shut off... "yes the wiring was correct" installed a different unit and it worked correctly. Unfortunately I didn't have a chance to install until after my 30 day window so now I have a $90 paper weight

Lasted three starts on the trailer then wouldn’t shut down ski.
