Afibi Women Full/Ankle Length Blending Maxi Chiffon Long Skirt Beach Skirt

This is a gorgeous skirt! I wore it to a spring "garden party" wedding with a cute back tie white blouse, and it was a perfect outfit! The medium squeezed my waist, and I don't have a big waist, but the large fit perfectly. Unless you have a super tiny waist, I would size up. The only issue I had with it is that I was hot all night, but it was a super muggy and warm Houston evening after a day of rain. If you live somewhere cooler, it's a perfect spring skirt and looked really dressy with heels. It's also adorable with a tank top and flip flops for a casual brunch - I might wear it on Mother's Day!

I now own two of these skirts in different varieties. They fit as expected, the slips are built in and their texture is smooth and does not aggravate my extremely sensitive skin. The colors on this skirt are vibrant and it goes beautifully with my Mardi Gras themed steel-boned overbust corset! The material is wonderfully light weight and flows nicely. I haven't gotten to wear this specific skirt out yet but when I've worn the other pattern I own out, I received nothing but compliments on how flattering it is.

Beautiful! Flowy and falls quick, I got many compliments and questions where I got it. Only lasted a year then threads came out , people stepping on my skirt, i didn't cut the dragging threads so I made it worse , id buy again but at the bottom of skirt is where that happened. Only skirt that doesn't make me bigger, and comfortable stretchy waist band. Wore it in summer was great but my legs were breaking a small sweat. No pockets on mine.

I am 5' 3 1/2" tall & weigh 133lbs. I usually wear a size 4 or 6 pant. I usually wear a medium skirt; but, occasionally buy a small. I ordered this in design N7 in a size medium. While it fit ok, I felt the elastic waist was just too snug. The waistband has a lot of stretch; but, I don't like things to fit too snug. You end up with a lump above the waistband that shows if you wear a fitted knit top. I will say that even though I am not big, my waist is a bit larger than you'd expect & my hips are smaller. So, if you have an average waist, the medium may be fine for you. As I said, it has a lot of stretch. The rest of the skirt fit perfectly. But, I plan on wearing this in the summer & don't want the waistband to be uncomfortable. I worried that if I bought the skirt in a large it would be too big. Happily, there is just enough difference to make the waist fit perfectly w/o the rest of the skirt being too big. I noticed that other reviewers mentioned that the skirt is too sheer. Yes, it is chiffon. That means it's going to be sheer. However, it has a plain lining which works as a slip & prevents anyone from seeing anything. There's no need for another slip. So, I am confused by that complaint. The lining does stop just below my knees while the skirt comes down to my feet. There's a lot of material. So, the lining stopping below the knee isn't very noticeable & does not detract from the look. I usually have to wear heels or hem my maxi skirts even though I have long legs for my height. This skirt stops just above the floor when I'm barefoot. I looks fine with flats or with heels. I also read some reviews complaining about the quality of the skirt. While I have returned the size medium, I did give it a complete once over as I did with the skirt I am keeping. I didn't find a single flaw on either skirt. The material is delicate. Again, it is chiffon. I will either hand wash this skirt or place it in a lingerie bag & wash it on delicate. I will hang it to dry, I live in maxi skirts in the summer & look forward to wearing this skirt. It has so many colors in it that I already have a selection of simple tops that will look perfect with it. If you are planning a super active day, say at the playground chasing the kids, this might not be the skirt you want to wear because the fabric is delicate. I plan on wearing this when I go out whether it's to run errands or to go to dinner & a movie. I could easily dress it up & wear it to a bridal shower, baby shower, or even a summer wedding. I showed it to my 3 daughters & my sister-in-law. They all loved it. I expect my girls will be buying their own. My 9 yr old granddaughter was upset that it didn't come small enough for her. She is rather tall for her age & I am considering buying one & putting it away until it fits her. I wish it came in a size XS for her. Anyway, for the price, I think these skirts are absolutely lovely & worth every penny. They are appropriate for any age. While I'm a little old for the look, you could pull this up over the bust to wear as a bathing suit coverup. You could even wear it above the bust w/ a belt & have an adorable dress.

08/10/18: OK, I just washed and dried it. It held up fine. I don't see any fading, tears, or bleeding colors. However, the side seems scrunched up a bit, so it doesn't look as nice, since scrunched detract from the look and make the item look poorly made. I tried to gently pull along the seams to see if I could even them out, but it didn't work. The only way to fix this is to undo the seam and sew it straigh again, however, I have no idea how to do that, since I don't know how to even sew a straight hem. I'm hoping that since the skirts are long and voluminous, this defect will be hidden in the folds of the skirt and won't be too noticeable. This did not happen to my two midi skirts that I purchased at Macy's several months ago on sale at $25 each and which are also a chiffon-type fabric (a bit thicker fabric than the Afibi skirts); the seams on those, after washing them twice, are perfect. ----- 07/25/18: I just received the skirt today. I have not washed it yet, thus don't know how it will hold up when washed. Judging ONLY on what it looks like now, it is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. It seems relatively well made for the price. It goes exactly to my ankle, which is what I wanted, instead of touching the ground, which for me would be disgusting. It fits perfectly, which I was concerned about due to the Oriental clothing being very small and not matching U.S. sizes. I got a 3XL (XXXL), which would have been huge for me at U.S. stores, but I decided that larger would be better than smaller -- and it fits fine. Due to the elastic at the waist, which expands quite a bit, a heavier person could wear it, as well as a much thinner person when it is not fully expanded. The colors and design are EXACTLY as pictured, and in fact, it looks better in person than in the picture, as it seems to have more flowers. I immediately went to WalMart with the skirt to see if I could find a top that would go with it, and I found a cotton candy pink top for $7.98, which matched perfectly with the pink flowers on the skirt; better yet was the final price of the top, as it rang at the counter for $3.00. So, I'm very pleased with the purchase! Woohoo!

So the skirt is really pretty. I got the green and it looks just like the picture, which is nice. My two biggest gripes are the waistband and the length. I've been on the hunt for a full length maxi skirt that I can wear at my waist and have reach the floor. At 5'7", that's not very easy to do. I really hate mid calf to ankle length skirts as they just don't look good on me. They somehow make my look short and squat and like I have stubby legs. I know the measurements are in the description, and I would consider them accurate. I was just hoping I would like the way it looked on me. My second and bigger gripe is the scrunched elastic waistband. I hate the look of that kind of waistband. It looks like Grandpa pants! Not very flattering if you plan on tucking a top into the skirt. I just find it very tacky. It also doesn't look flattering on me because I'm pretty straight-sided and the extra fabric on the waistband doesn't do me any favors. I need a smooth waistband to try and at least fake having somewhat of a waist/curves. Other than that, the quality seems decent and the material is nice. The waistband does have a lot of stretch. And the minty green color is exactly what I was looking for. I just really wish they made full length maxi skirts for tall girls.

I owned this skirt a year or two ago and loved it, but after losing weight it no longer fit and I donated it. I decided to reorder it in a smaller size, but the skirt I received was not the same quality as the original. The original skirt was exactly as pictured and was surprisingly high quality. The skirt I just received is missing the little ribbon detail at the waist and the fabric feels cheap, not silky like the original. The colors are way more muted and the print looks washed out and pixelated. Instead of rainbow, the skirt I got is mostly pink and orange because the purple, green, and blue tones are so muddy-looking. The worst part is that the waistband is folded over and sewn so that the seam shows through the transparent part of the skirt instead of being inside the liner, so it looks cheap and tacky. The stitching is overall so poor quality that it feels like a Halloween costume that will fall apart in one wash. I thought maybe the quality just declined overall, but other recent reviews are showing pictures that look just like the original skirt I received, so it seems like the seller has two versions of this skirt and it’s up to chance which one you’ll end up with. If you got one without the ribbon at the waist, congrats, you also paid full price for the cheaper, crappier version.

okay the only thing i don't like about this skirt is the waistband, i think the stripe around it looks kinda stupid. so the first video is just showing you the band, plus my solution which is to fold it over. it's so unnoticeable that everyone i've asked didn't even know what i was talking about when i asked if it was noticeable that i folded it until i showed them the waistband so problem solved! the second photo is showing the skirt, but it is a bit prettier in real life the lighting in my room is just god awful. it feels very light and flowy when you wear it, and the material feels nice against your legs. i'll probably get another one of these in a. different design soon! :)

La falda esta bien hecha y la tela es muy bonita. Lo unico que no me gusto es que trae una cinta para hacer un moño en la cintura que la hace ver muy casual. Sin embargo, se la puedes quitar con unas tijeras y se ve mejor.

Malheureusement un peu trop longue pour moi (5pi2), mais le tissu est très beau et la jupe est assez large pour qu'elle vole joliment au vent. La couleur n'est pas exactement celle de l'image non plus, mais ce n'est pas grave, c'est très joli quand même.

The white flowers on the skirt as it appears in the photo is not really white. It is more of a brownish muddy shade. So there is not a good contrast between the blue and the flowers as I expected it would be. The material and the flare of the skirt is as described. It is a pretty skirt but has a dull look.
