Kilz made my under sink area look amazing and 7 years later, no mold, mildew or stains. So when it was time to stain my fence, I was happy to see Kilz as one of the affordable brands. No need to use any harsh solvent as long as you clean your sprayer soon after you finish application. **Q: Do you need to prime the wood first?** A: NO...Just slap it on. It's very thin, and a little goes a long way. You need a second coat, but it dries fast. I still have about a third of a gallon left after 2 projects, and I was worried that I should have bought 2 gallons for my first job. It also stands up well. I have it sitting in the full Florida sun all day, and it hasn't shown any signs of fading. Best stuff I have ever used, and highly recommended.
