IS it possible to install a propane conversation kit on this model safely and legally?

Lookup US Carborator website. Call em and their friendly staff will give you info on the correct kit. They can even email you the link. All they need is the make and model of your portable generator. Usually $187 plus any low pressure crimped gas hoses you will need to connect. But you can buy these anywhere. Several youtube videos and plenty of reviewers have done this quite successfully and made one helluva smart decision. No more lugging fuel cans or worse - waiting in line when fuel shortages occur like Hurricane Harvey here in Houston. Natural gas or propane their kits can make both or either work. Nice thing is you can have a trifecta and keep using it as gas too.

Does this unit have a 50amp 1 phase plug on the bottom of the panel as well? Thanks

It's got one 50 amp 240. One 30 amp 240. Two 30 amp 120s one 120 gcfi outlet and one standard 120 outlet. Plus 12 volt outlet for battery charger.  I love this unit so far. It's big and holds a lot of gas. But overall great unit.

Running a high KW Generac now and I have no problems with my neighbors complaining about the noise. I have no problems because I cannot hear them over the generator. These are big and powerful machines that sound like big and powerful machines. If noise is your issue either research a permanent unit with sound insulation or view one of the creative housing solutions outlined in the ratings.
