Strong flavor, similar to thyme
These seeds are best when you toast them (dry), and they add a thyme-like flavor to soups, curries, etc. However, use it sparingly -- because the flavor is strong, and slightly bitter. The good news is that ajwain is good for digestion, lowers cholesterol and blood pressure, and has anti-inflammatory effects.

Effective for digestion
I ordered these to help relieve constipation and keep me going with a smooth healthy digestion, they're very effective. I soak them before going to sleep like less than half a teaspoon with some cumin seed and some fennel seed. I also put a few drops of apple cider vinegar in the water. In the morning, I drink some and I sip the rest throughout the day. It keeps me consistent and I can eat anything and even carbs. Alhumdulillah ❤️ Thank you for the great quality.

Stale! You lose out big time buying at this price
I ordered and agreed to pay $19 despite finding double this quantity for $5 elsewhere just for its freshness and crunchiness in my first time to try this brand. I wish i knew this was a one off as my second order was a COMPLETE miss and more stale than regular cheaper priced batches of ajwain
