I bought one for my grandsons pool which is about 8x10x 16" deep , and it does that with ease .. great little pump. **Q: does the output nozzle fit a standard UK garden hose ?** A: Yes but there is 3 different sizes in the box ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Good value for money, but beware of pressure drop. *by P***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 31 March 2023* I bought this pump to replace a sump pump in an Aqua one 275 cube aquarium approximately a year ago. This weekend, I did my annual service of all my aquariums, and thought I would leave a review of this pump.It has been on constantly for a year. Only shutting down for water changes. It still works fine. However, for people wanting to use this in a similar capacity I did as a sump pump, be aware that the 1,800 litres per hour is a little out from what I am actually getting. Now I do not know it it is due to the head (Approx 1.8 meters), due to pipe size (16mm internal pipe diameter) or due to the duck nozzles I have, but the flow rate is only 300litres per hour. I cannot remember if I tested it when I first got the pump, so cannot confirm if this is a drop or not from new. However, the pump has ran without fault for a year with no issues. I will be replacing it shortly, and I will strip this pump down to check for wear and update this review accordingly. But for its price, I cannot fault it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Short cable *by T***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 July 2023* I am using as a spare incase mine stops working ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Not as described *by A***D on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 April 2023* Described at 1800L per hour, but received 1200L. Seller could not guarantee getting correct item if reordered so offered small refund. Works ok, but slower than I wanted and slightly lower pressure. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/396374243-homvik-25w-submersible-water-pump-for-fountain-aquarium-pond-garden](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/396374243-homvik-25w-submersible-water-pump-for-fountain-aquarium-pond-garden) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
