Japanese Kewpie Mayonnaise - 17.64 oz. Product of Japan. - (Pack of 1), 132 Piece Set

I bought this mayo for a Bang Bang Chicken Breast recipe that called for Japanese Mayonaise, it specified "Kewpie" Mayonaise. The recipe mixes the mayo with a chile sauce to make a sauce to baste on hot Skewered Chicken Breasts. The chicken breast was cut into 2" bite size pieces, mixed with some spices: 1/2 tsp ea of chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, garlic salt, black pepper, then mix in a little olive oil and place on water soaked wooden skewers. Cook 10 min, turn and cook another 10 min or until internal temperature reaches 160°. I cooked it at 400 in an air fryer but you could also grill it. Then you brush on sauce before serving.Not a fan of the sauce I made by itself, but I also only had a Safeway brand Sweet Chili Sauce which may have effected the overall flavor. Sauce was brushed on the hot chicken and it cooked on it like a glaze. Taste was just okay.The bottle is very soft and easy to squeeze to dispense the mayo. Not oil seperation, I think those that complained about that got bottles that had frozen. I had bought the double bottle because it was a better bargain and would recive it faster. Since I barely used any of the first bottle I decided to use the mayo on my ham sandwich today and ... it was pretty good!!! I am used to Helmans Mayo and I think this has a richer flavor. Japanese Mayo is made with egg yolks, no whole eggs like US brands. They also use a rice vinegar. It is a bit expensive so will I buy it again? ... maybe???

I saw a YouTuber use the brand and had to try it. It's definitely my new favorite as it's richer than regular mayo. I deducted a star not for the product itself, but for the packaging. The bottle is SUPER soft and not at all sturdy, so it likes to collapse in on itself making it hard to dispense the product. This is my third bottle, though, so obviously not too much of an issue.

No need to worry about authenticity with this one – it’s the same Kewpie Mayo you find in stores. If you’re a fan, you know what to expect; if you haven’t tried it yet, just know it’s different from American mayonnaise. I personally love it with salmon and in egg sandwiches! (Also — great price for having 2 bottles).

Kewpie is fantastic mayo, just try it if you haven't. Very slightly sweeter than normal mayo with that great MSG kick. I'm surprised to say that Amazon seemingly sells it for less than it goes for at my local Asian stores. The stores typically sell it for $6-$7 ($5 is the absolute lowest sale price I've seen) whereas Amazon Warehouse specifically sometimes has 2-packs for around $8. Make sure to always check the "see more sellers" section to find the best deal because $4 per Kewpie is a killer deal that I might have otherwise missed.

I have been using american brand mayo since moved here in USA. Those cupie mayo usually cost about $10 at asian store so it is little pricey.... but I saw this on sale and bought this after 10 plus years of using other brand mayo. I forgot how good these mayo taste!! I use for vegetable sticks, tuna, and many more food. Although other brand mayo doesn't taste bad at all I don't think I will go back to the other brand.

It is easy to use, and has a nice mayo taste. I have seen it sold at Grocery Outlet in Vegas forgot price.

Alternate to mayo, light and tangy great with deli meats I think its delicious !!

This stuff right here is the thick creamy nectar of the gods , made with straight egg yolks this mayo has a unique rich flavor , the soft bottle offers ease of use and a long shelf life

Best mayo on the market

Won’t use any other Mayo but it’s getting expensive which is upsetting was a good price before it going up in price recently. Need a new bottle never buying any supermarket mayo’s now since this Mayo kewpie Mayo all the way yummy

Really love this mayo. Super tasty. Weird soft plastic bottle, but it makes it easier to get every drop of mayo out - so no wastage!
