Perfect addition for acid loving plants
If you have plants that need a lot of acid (in my case it's blueberries), you need to occasionally add some of this to the soil. It's easy to open, easy to distribute (just toss out on the ground around your plants), and nature will take care of the rest. Just take note of how much to distribute. My experience says that it's better to put too MUCH than too LITTLE.

Product is fine packaging not so much.
It came in a box with a couple pairs of scissors and there was a hole in the fertilizer bag so the fertilizer got all over everything, otherwise fine - still not happy about it.

Great for blueberries
We had planted a couple of blueberry bushes several years ago, and they just weren't growing. We decided to give this soil acidifier a try, and what a difference it made! Very easy to apply, just pour the granules around the drip edge perimeter once a month or so.

Works Great on my Hydrangeas, Gardenias, & Blueberries!
This has done a great job of brightening up the blue and purple tones of my various hydrangea flowers. It brought my gardenia to life - doubling the size and blooms on it. It greatly increased my blueberry yields and I swear it made them taste sweeter. I've been very pleased and have continued to use this.

Long term treatment to acidify your soil. Not a fertilizer!
Amazon calls this fertilizer but it's not the (bag is properly labelled, however). This will lower the PH of your soil so acid-loving plants can absorb nutrients or fertilizer you might also use (Miracid, for example). It's a long term process, so this size bag is a good value. If your magnolia, azaleas, hydrangeas need a quick boost (yellowing and falling leaves, for example) plan to use this over time as directed AND add a quick acting fertilizer as well.
