Wow, didn't think I would find another really good flat iron. The one I had, got in Atlanta's Perimeter Mall. It was at a Kiosk and the guy used it on my hair. 30yrs ago $100 was alot. That one finally gave out. I saw this one. So far, durable and it meets my high qualifications.

I was pleasantly surprised to see this brand is still around. I've had my original Corliss for 25 years and it's still working great, so much so that I've never had to replace it! As someone previously mentioned, I had also purchased the straightening iron at a Kiosk (at the mall) in 2001. At the time it was $100.00 which I thought was a lot for back then. When the rep showed me what the iron can do to my hair, I was immediately sold. I had no idea you can curl your hair with a straightening iron! Anyway- I have recommended this product for years! When I'm ready for a new iron, I will purchase the gold again.
