Absolutely love this ball! I'm not sure what other reviewers were expecting. Yes, it plays songs and counts repetitively that may be annoying to some adults, but it what makes your child smile and that's why I'm giving it 5 stars. This has become my child's favorite go to toy which we got for her 1st birthday. She love it so much that she has it all day to when she goes to sleep at night to traveling in the car. During the day she tosses it around and sits it with her when she watches TV. In car rides it's been even better because it's the one toy that can't easily gets tossed to the side where no one can get to it. My child loves playing throw away with hopes it bounces back now. She immediately smiles when she sees it and loves hearing the sounds it makes. I'm of the mindset that as a parent you should reinforce learning with your child so even though it counts numbers and sings songs, I'm not sure it will mean anything to your LO unless you sing along or copy the noises. So again, consider your expectations when purchasing this toy. The sound can easily be turned off or sound lowered and it's also machine washable when you take the electronic insert out. Another plus for me when my LO had an accident throw up on it. Keep in mind also that this is made of cloth material and not the soccer type of material - so don't expect it to bounce or be kicked around like that. But it does roll and can be tossed around with baby.

Super cute and interactive. My nephew loves it, he has loads of fun playing with it and hearing all the different responses.

My ten month old baby boy loves the soft texture and the sounds this ball makes. He leans over it and does all kinds of moves to hear it talk and sing, and he giggles a lot as a result. Reviewers who said the sound is on the low side are right. It is indeed pretty low, almost in audible. But babies and kids have way better hearing than the rest of us, and we have enough loudly obnoxious baby toys. Who needs another one? Not this mama. Guaranteed fun. Great toy!

Fun toy, but difficult to turn off and on where the switche is located. Tends to get left on a lot. But the kids love it

I just purchased a second one of these for a gift after having had one that has been well loved for a total of four years between two grandbabies. It is an alltime favorite of both - first a boy, and then a girl. We joke that they must’ve baby-tested the sound and voice and music in the thing extensively to find the absolute most appealing noises. And the sound is very easily activated by very young babies. We are sure it was motivation for our grandson to roll over. And then as the babies become toddlers, they can actually kick it around the house and not break anything. Loads of entertainment value. Now it is going to be a “go to” baby gift for us!

This ball is amazing for kids. But my dog's love it more. They have so much fun playing with it. And it keeps them occupied when I am not at home.

I purchased this as a gift for the child of an extended family member. It looks cute, I just question if it's a return or a product that is a second in quality. The box containing it had a bright red upc code tag just over and to the side of a regular tag. I am unsure of whether it's a second or not, hopefully it stands up to Fisher Price quality.
