An Artist's Alphabet Hardcover – Picture Book, September 13, 2016

Wonderful! The illustrations are beautiful and creative. This makes the top of my list of favorite alphabet books for my kids.

this book also has lower case alphabet letters. Some of the pictures as really clever.

amazing illustrations

An alphabet made up of a wide assortment of imaginative illustrations.I really have no idea how kids will react to this one. Some of the pages seem to have a correlation between the letter and the object that makes up the letter, others, if they are related are not abundantly clear (D features a fat cat...perhaps the breed starts with d? I don't know, and I doubt little kids will.) There is no guide in the back. So this seems aimed at more the art appreciation crowd instead of the kids learning their letters and sounds crowd. The illustrations are very well done, though in a style that seems a bit retro which will also turn off and attract different audiences. I'm guessing this will be popular with a small crowd and meh to a larger crowd.
