Tree To Tub Unscented Shea Butter Body Lotion Nourishes Dry Skin, 8.5 Fl Oz

My skin is in rough shape. I have very dry, eczema prone skin with patches that tend to break out with occasional acne, scar tissue formation, and rough calluses on elbows and feet. And I got so tired of using multiple skin care products that either barely helped or were way too expensive ($60 face creams, anyone?). So I researched different ingredients, tried out some raw shea butter and coconut oil to see how my skin would react to them, and put quite a few hours into searching for just the right product to meet my needs. This lotion isn't a miracle cream, but with its affordability, pure ingredients, effective moisturizing, and all-over versatility it's pretty close. I purchased the unscented version and it truly is without any scent, good or bad. It comes out thin like a lotion, which made me nervous at first, but goes on silky smooth like the thickest creams, yet without any sort of greasy residue. I've been using it all over (face and body) to the exclusion of any other moisturizing products, just to see what it could do - and I've gone from 6 containers on my countertop to just one, which is pretty amazing. No more dual face creams, body-only lotion, extra moisturizing treatment, cuticle cream, and callus cream! It's gentle enough for sensitive areas like around the eyes, yet effective enough for tough areas like elbows and feet. It hasn't completely reduced my calluses, but it's certainly stopped them from getting worse. My cuticles and skin tone have improved, my acne has almost disappeared, and red eczema-prone patches have evened out. I live in a cold, dry, wintry climate . . . so that's saying something! I love that it's made of the purest and most natural ingredients, and have enjoyed learning more about the benefits of soapberries. I will definitely be buying more of this in the future!

A little about me: I have very dry skin on my body (some eczema) and I’m very sensitive to fragrance. I also get very itchy legs after shaving no matter what I do. I’ve purchased this product a few times and definitely recommend it. It is truly unscented, which I super appreciate since I am sensitive to fragrances. It’s moisturizing and really sinks into your skin quickly. Does not feel sticky at all. This does a good job moisturizing, although it’s not enough for my eczema patches. So it doesn’t help for the very dry skin, but it works as a quick moisturizer for your hands or to use on your legs after shaving. I use this on my legs after shaving, combined with a few drops of Jojoba or Argan oil. Works for me to keep the itchiness away.

Im lost for words to say about this product. I really love this lotion. It's something really special for sure. I honestly found something I will be coming back to because it's the perfect lotion I been searching for years. It is a very clean product so clean that even though it says it unscented you can defently smell the light subtle pleasing rawness of what I'm guessing is the soapberry. Just wow, it smells really good and pure, untouch by chemicals you find in other lotions. Smelling an unscented lotion from a store you can smell the chemicals in it. But this... this is very unique and pleasing to my nostrils. This lotion does moisturize very well and when applied, it absorbs into the skin fairly quickly. The consistency is perfect too! It's not thick like heavy lotions that clump on your arm and leg hairs. It's not so runny to the point that it's like water. It's in the middle more towards the thinner side and just goes on beautifuly. This lotion is not greasy at all. Just an absolute awesome product could not recommend this enough! The price is definitely high for how much you are getting and I really hope they can drop it down a few bucks because I would love to keep my shelfs stock full of this stuff and I don't think I could ever use a different lotion. Please never change the formula!!!! what you guys have here is one of a kind and hard to find lotion. If you do please call it something els and keep this as the original because its honestly a very well done product and I hate to see it change for the worst! Hope you read that part Tree to Tub!!! I was looking for a moisturizer that didn’t have the chemicals that “over the counter” lotions have. Not the cleanest lotion on the market but definitely a step or two up from “over the counter”. It’s thick and not greasy. When you first put it in it feels like it’s going to be greasy but it’s not. Leaves skin smooth and gets rid of dryness. Raw unscented is a perfect description for the scent, or lack there of which I wanted. My son is happy with it.

This is the best lotion I've ever used in my life! Everything about it is perfect, including the natural, nourishing ingredients that were used to create this skin softening lotion. It smells gently of aloe vera, which is the top ingredient that was used. Aloe vera is well known for its ability to heal and soothe skin, and people say that it's the secret behind Cleopatra's beautiful skin. This lotion feels very slick and lightweight, without any greasiness, stickiness, or heaviness. It just seems to instantly float across and sink into thirsty skin, and there isn't much of a waiting period at all. For such a lightweight lotion, it's extremely effective in moisturizing and softening dry skin. It's obvious that a lot of care and research was put into the creation of this lotion, and I'm blown away by its efficiency and quality. This lotion is organic, fair trade, vegan, cruelty-free, hypoallergenic, and eco-friendly. It contains no silicone, sulfates, parabens, perfumes, toxins, or other synthetic junk that is packed into most commercial skincare products today. It truly erases dry patches and seems to reverse aging by improving the quality and elasticity of your skin. You can use this lotion all over your body, hands, feet, or face, and feel really good about it. I chose the unscented version so that I could add my own natural ingredients and essential oils to make specific lotions for loved ones. I can't believe I almost canceled this order, but I'm so thankful I didn't. This is THE BEST lotion you will ever use in your life! It's seriously that good, that natural, and that effective. Plus, the package comes with an actual soapberry inside, along with directions on how to boil it to create a creamy lather that washes your face naturally. There are seeds rattling around inside that can be planted to grow a real soapberry tree. Pretty cool!

Overall: Awesome, light product for sensitive skin. Not overly sticky or heavily-scented. Continuous use will leave skin very smooth. On the pricier side (but a little of the lotion goes a long way). I love this product and have switched to using it as my go-to lotion! Pros: -All natural product without harsh chemicals or unnecessary fillers -Really leaves skin feeling hydrated and nourished. I have used this for several weeks now (at least once a day) and my skin has genuinely felt so much healthier. I no longer wake up with dry hands, elbows, or feet -Light, airy, smooth texture that feels very soft when applying -Isn’t sticky and doesn’t leave residue. I can use my hands 1 minute or so after applying the lotion and they won’t feel oily or leave residue behind Neutral (depending on your preference): -Natural-smelling scent that isn’t too strong. Because this is shea butter, I was expecting a sweeter smell that is common in other lotions, but this scent is definitely more herb-y / earthy. You can distinctly smell the soapberry, and some may even find this scent veering towards the medicinal side (but only slightly). For me this is a huge pro because I don’t like heavily sweet / sugary smells, but your mileage may vary -As mentioned earlier, this is a very light lotion. It applies in a thin layer, so don’t expect a heavy cream or body butter type of texture Cons: -On the expensive side when compared to drugstore lotions, though it is on par with natural / high-end lotions

I actually like this lotion — but the problem is how quickly it runs out. A little does not go a long way. With normal, regular use, I went through an entire bottle in less than two weeks (the largest one), which was surprising and disappointing for the price. The lotion itself applies smoothly and provides decent moisture. However, to get full coverage, you have to use a fairly large amount each time. That makes it impractical and expensive to keep repurchasing. Because of the insufficient lasting power, I can’t justify the cost, even though the product quality itself is good. If it lasted longer, this would be a much stronger option — but as it stands, it’s not worth buying repeatedly.

It’s very compatible with my skin. Love how it doesn’t leave my skin feeling very oily after a few hours but very soft and smooth. It lasts pretty long on my skin and I don’t have to be constantly putting on more after applying it once. No fragrance whatsoever, it has a neutral scent. Second time buying it and definitely recommend for sensitive skin.

I’m in the process of trying to swap all my beauty products for natural alternatives and have been finding it hard to find natural products that are as good as my usual ones. However, this moisturiser is truly the best I have ever used. It feels slightly sticky after putting on but after a minute or so it completely disappears as though you put nothing on your skin. But it makes my skin sooo soft! Like no other product has. I really love it. Only downside is the packaging as it is hard to get quite a bit out of the end of the tub as the pump doesn’t reach so quite a bit ends up wasted

its amazing for someone like me with eczema on her skin. its also a great moisturiser for your face, free of fragrance and alcohol. would recommend this product to anyone with sensitive or broken skin.
