Did not need - but exactly like the original
I ordered this at the same time that I ordered a Dorman 902-860 Thermostat Housing Kit because Amazon had identified it as something that others ordered at the same time as the housing kit. I didn't want to have the housing kit and then have to go out and buy a new gasket. Turns out that the new housing kit had one already installed so I did not need this one. I had already opened the package and was trying to install when I found the seal in new housing. No big deal since the gasket was fairly inexpensive. For what it's worth, I did take the time to compare the new gasket with the one in the old housing and from what I could tell this gasket is exactly like the original in diameter, height, and thickness.

You don't need this for the thermostat (upper), like others I ordered it and scratched my head as to where the hell do I put this sucker in. If I had read the reviews here, I would have known that Amazon lists this as a go together item and it really shouldn't. Oh well, it's cheap.
