So much better than a stair gate, rolls away so not cumbersome or in the way. Good system for holding the device closed and a great price too. Perfect for keeping my dog from going upstairs and easy to install. Sturdy enough for what I need it for but wouldn’t put it at the top of the stairs for toddlers. Suitable for bottom of stairs though.

This was purchased to stop the dog from going downstairs and eating the cat food at night and it works a treat! The cats can easily sneak under the bottom so they aren't trapped by it at all. The dog now won't lie on her bed until the gate is shut as she's decided that it is only bedtime when it's closed :) I was worried the cats would use it as a scratching post especially when the gate is open but so far they haven't bothered with it. It seems to still be retracting as it should and sometimes it rolls in a bit squiff but I've found that just pulling up the handle a little straightens it out so hopefully we won't have any future issues. It came with another set of hooks and fittings so we could move it to another location if needed. Really happy with the purchase and glad it works!

Easy to fit. I liked that the gate rolls away so you can choose when to use and don’t have a gate there permanently. It’s great for my dog as she doesn’t try to escape or get under it. However, another dog I’m dog sitting has managed to get under it - even when locked. I have it as pretty much as low as it can go and he can still sneak under if he really wants to. For context both my dog and the dog I sit are dachshunds. The dachshund I sit it just slightly lower to the ground and more determined. Overall it does seem well made and is good value for money. Just be warned it can be outsmarted.

This is a regular occurrence and has been for years. I doubted these things would hold up to the abuse that a pair of toddlers and visiting toddlers have given them over about 4 years so far. Genuinely they’ve been great. They also roll away neatly so you don’t have some massive gate flapping around all the time and they look far more inconspicuous mounted on the wall, particularly if you are deliberate with colours, so you don’t have an unsightly gate kicking around. I have no negative points about these stair gates at all.

It looks lovely up, but I have a staffy that has head butted straight through it and pulled out of the wall that it was screwed to.

Great gate. Very easy to install, keeps our cat in although she could just jump over it if she really wanted but more importantly it keeps our toddler in and so far he hasn't figured out how to use the little twist lock thing on the top to open the gate. Great value for money.

Ho due cani di taglia media e a volte vorrei mangiare in santa pace senza che questi due monelli siano tutto il tempo sotto il tavolo a elemosinare ....... La separazione funziona, è facilissima da montare e quando non la usi è li senza ingombro, dicasi un cilindro di 90 mm di altezza e 10 cm di diametro fissato alla parete e sopratutto senza il famoso scalino a pavimento e senza ridurre lo spazio luce della porta.

So installation was really easy and it walks really well. I like the design and I like the fact that eventually we can take it off and don’t have to keep it up and it’s not making marks like the pressure gates do. It’s easy to go in and out of a room so that was a bonus factor for me. I raised it up a little bit so the cat could go underneath, but the dog is too big. Inevitably, my cat has his own room and the dog can’t get in so that is a plus. Good quality and easy to assemble and easy to use.

Perfetto siamo per cani (avendo un rootweiler ) sia per bambini robusti facile da montare.

Parfait ! Nous n'avons pas la possibilité de percer les murs donc nous avons opté pour la solution sans perçage. C'est extrêmement facile et rapide à installer, je recommande !
