I bought this for my sister for Christmas because she bakes and cooks a lot. It ended up becoming a family used item, as it's super cute and you can use it for anything you're cooking on the stove. I turn it sideways when I use it so anything dripping off my spoon will go right back into the pot or pan. If it gets dirty (which it usually doesn't because it works very well) I just throw it on the top rack in the dishwasher and it comes out squeaky clean and ready to use. I highly recommend!!

So cute and functional

This is so cute! And useful too. I sit it on the counter or rim of my pot, while I'm heating soup for example, and it holds my wooden spoon very well. The aqua color is perfect for my kitchen accent colors too. I did take a star off because I haven't had any luck using it as a steam releaser though that may just be because Le Creuset lids are so heavy.

Cute! This definitely adds some whimsy to the kitchen. However, it did slide around and did not hold my spoon very well on my pot. It didn't balance and kept falling. It will help with keeping a pot lid open to help release steam. A bit disappointed, but it sits by my stove to look cute while I cook.

I bought one for me and one as a gift. I like it more that the gift recipient and use mine just about every day. The gift recipient thinks it is cute but just uses as decoration. I think it is a convenient place to put the wooden spoon between stirring intervals..
