Perfect!
Got this to go with my sons costume for a school play as he was playing the role of the judge. Its brilliant quality comes with the little circle base for shouting "order!" It's well made and I highly recommend it would make a good gift for anyone who has a law career 😉

Sturdy, loud gavel which does job.
Surprisingly reasonable quality for the price, as it has been thoroughly tested! Definitely loud enough and both are look and feel as good quality wood would.

Devastatingly poor quality
A premium wooden gavel - pure waffle. After one day’s use, in the middle of a critical debate I was presiding over, this so called premium gavel shattered into two. Fortunately my years of legal expertise allowed me to carry on, uncompromising and powerfully in the name of justice. However this poor quality instrument is not suitable for anybody.
