why this product doesn’t have halal certified logo on the bag? is it really halal?

Our natural sheep casings are most definitely Halal Certified. We are audited and certified by the New Zealand Islamic Development Trust and we regularly export certified halal natural sheep casings to Singapore, Dubai, Turkey, Morocco and Malaysia to name a few. All of our natural sheep casings are processed in a facility that ONLY processes natural sheep casings. For clarity, we do sell natural hog casings but our company does not process them. We have offshore partners in Australia and Germany who process these products and we just purchase the finished product.
 
I will upload a copy of our Halal Licence and will look into getting the halal logo applied to our packaging.

Question 2

Reviewer says that these are tubed, not preflushed, description says preflushed and pretubed. What's preflushed and pretubed, and which is correct?

Thank you for getting in touch.

'Pre-flushed' means that our natural sausage casings have been cleaned and thoroughly 'flushed' through with water before being salted and packed. All our products have been pre-flushed during processing. As such, our casings do not need to be 'flushed' through with water on the inside by the consumer before use.
 
This is not to be confused with 'soaking' requirements. When casings are unpacked by the consumer, the salt needs to be thoroughly washed off and the casings needs to be soaked (while still on the tube). This is to allow the casings to rehydrate and become soft and pliable again.

Our natural sheep casings are also pre-tubed onto plastic tubes to make them easier to transfer onto your sausage making nozzle. Please refer to images on our listing which clearly shows what our product looks like.
