I bought 3 different ones of these. but different brand. all said PLug and play.. BS.. They didnt work. I need wifi and Bluetooth bot work some time. but Bluetooth never worked on others.. This one came with small cd of drives... It works awesome.. Thanks for being Honest...

No disc needed just plugged in and it works great to miracast to an old surface pro 3 and Bluetooth for my headset and controller cheaper than a wifi kit and so much simpler to use I get great signal at about 50 ish feet for Bluetooth small and compact size about half a credit card great value

At least it does under Linux Mint. I haven't tried it with Raspberry Pi yet as all mine have both BT and WiFi onboard. According to the manual (available as a .pdf download from Amazon's product page, how nice!), you have to jump through the usual hoops if using Windows but you're probably used to that; with Linux, plug it in and reboot and you're good to go. I had lost faith, I didn't think I'd ever see the two functions in one dongle again. I just bought another for a spare!

I bought this for a HTPC (home theater PC) which gets used maybe once or twice a week. It's an old Dell OptiPlex 3020 and it doesn't have built-in WiFi or Bluetooth, so I bought this solution for using a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse with the added bonus of not needing to also buy a WiFi adapter. Fast forward to last night when, in the middle of catching up on Windows 10 updates, it suddenly disconnects from the network—no networks available. Bluetooth was working fine. No other device in my house had this issue. I tried rolling back the Windows 10 updates, thinking that was the problem, to no avail. I even got frustrated enough to break out my old Windows 7 DVD and did a clean install, same thing. No networks available. Amazon requires reviewers to give at least one star, so I'll give you something positive about this unit: "If you need a WiFi solution for precisely 10 months, I can fully recommend the USB WiFi Bluetooth Adapter, 1300Mbps Dual Band 2.4/5Ghz Wireless Network External Receiver, Mini WiFi Dongle for PC/Laptop/Desktop." Otherwise, do what i'm doing and try the TP-Link Archer T2UB Nano that's also much more compact and, at the time of writing, is actually $3 cheaper AND from a trusted brand name. My wife bought a cheapo PC for the home office. This was one of those refurbished business desktops, with some modern components thrown in (SSD, more RAM). The PC came with a tiny Wi-Fi/BT dongle that was the size of my thumbnail. It was only 2.4ghz, too... so I needed something better. Found this product and gave it a shot. Surprisingly fast and simple, for the money. Did notice, like another reviewer pointed out.... that if you install MS optional drivers such as Intel NIC driver, from Windows Update, that the adaptor quit working altogether. No manner of tweaking, disabling, enabling, uninstalling worked. Had to roll back the Windows Update optional Intel NIC driver in order for it to be seen again. I don't think it's this product's fault, but its' worth noting. One week later, as life happens like that sometimes, I managed to break off the antennae from an older Wi-Fi adaptor on another machine in my house. So I just ordered a second one of these, to replace it. Very happy.

Works every time!!!

I buy a bunch of stuff on Amazon. I never write reviews. Until now. Put a rebuilt desktop computer in my shed (now art studio). Computer came with a WiFi/ Bluetooth usb thing that was worthless. Ordered this adapter, plugged it in and instant connection on both the WiFi and Bluetooth. Came with an installation disk. Didn’t need it. Didn’t need to look for and install drivers. Truly is plug and play. I do have a version 5 Echo in my studio that I believe has an eero hub which I’m sure helps my WiFi signal.

Drivers are impossible to install without a disc drive they never mentioned that anywhere but now you know, It had no problem accepting the drivers from my previous Wi-Fi dongle but not only was the Bluetooth side not working it stopped my previous Bluetooth dongle from working Driver Hub could not resolve the issue because as the included mini disk (that was conveniently left out of the pictures) states you are to install the disc BEFORE you plug in the device, I was only able to get Bluetooth working on my previous Bluetooth dongle again by restoring my computer from a back up. I will update my review if I find a way to obtain the required drivers in a stable state UPDATE 1: I found that if I uninstall the drivers that are installed when the device is plugged in I can plug in my previous devices and they'll work fine so maybe I can figure it out UPDATE 2: After spending a couple hours tinkering with it I have it working the way it should, it outperforms my old wifi adapter buy not my old bluetooth adapter still glad I got it because it allowed me to free up a usb slot

Sin duda alguna cumple perfectamente con su función el único contra es la instalación de los drivers ya que vienen en un CD y hoy en día la mayoría de la laptop ya no cuenta con lector de cd
