I have many, varied types of water filters for different scenarios. I have always wanted an upright stainless steel water filter but didn’t want to pony up the big bucks. This filter is reasonably priced and will filter 3 gals of water by gravity over night easily. Ceramic, carbon, or nano filters from other brands will fit in this filter. I like that there are two more holes (plugged) that will accommodate additional filters for increased performance if desired. This is a big, somewhat clunky item I would not really want to lug around on camping trips but it works great for home and extended use and could be used in emergency situations. I do not know how to confirm the specs, but 0.1 micron and activated charcoal filtration sounds really good to me and the taste is good enough that we have quit buying bottled water.
