HOSTACK Modern 4 Drawers Dresser for Bedroom, Wood Chest of Drawers, White

These are good for the price. We bought five total. All needed hardware was included. It’s a bit of assembly but that’s fine. The instructions included were thorough and easy to follow. They look nice, and for our use we cut some material off of the bottom.

I’ve had these dressers for at least a year now. They’ve survived a move and I finally remembered to do a review. It’s not too heavy, made of press board, but still sturdy. It’s the perfect size for a toddler dresser or for an adult who wants to better organize their clothes. I had my stuff separated into long socks, short socks, winter caps, winter gloves. It allowed me to organize better and open up my bigger dresser for bulkier items like sweatpants and sweaters. It’s worth the money for organization alone. I was able to put this together by myself, the instructions were clear. I recommend using power tools to save time and prevent hand cramps. I have carpal tunnel or something so all the twisting was hard on me until I grabbed my husband’s tool bag. Being that it’s pressed board I would definitely be careful when inserting screws. I opted for the white but it also came in black when i had ordered it. I also bought the 3 drawer unit and I love them both. I plan to buy more.

Assembly was easy and product looks nice. The only complaints I have is the drawers are not as tall as shown in the picture. Their picture shows the drawers are 6.5" tall but you can clearly see from my picture the drawers aren't even 5" tall. Disappointed cause that was the main reason for purchasing this particular dresser. The other thing that I don't like is 3 out of the 4 drawers don't open fully. The left side of those drawers stay in 1/2" unless there's constant force pulling them out fully to be even with the ride side of the drawer. Would not purchase again for the price including shipping which was a nightmare in itself but I'm not including in this review.

It is pretty solid once assembled, not a fan of the "locking" feature of the drawers as it is a bit clumsy (locks in via friction with small plastic piece when fully closed). Assembly was easy enough, but mine came with a few pieces backwards. The supports between the drawers at the front were drilled out backwards. They take a single binding post screw/join (the screw that goes in, then you put the round locking mechanism in to tighten) and a single wood dowel. These two items are vastly different in size, so there is no way I got them inserted backwards, not to mention this isn't my first time around a screwdriver as I have worked construction for over a decade. They were drilled out so the round locking mechanism was facing the front of the cabinets. You can't see it when the drawers are closed, but when open you see these big round shiny chunks of metal which are supposed to be oriented to the interior of the cabinet. Kind of a bummer, but at least the drawers cover them when not in use. Edit: Started at 3 stars. The seller reached out to me to make things right with what issues I did have while also not requiring me to put any effort into taking the furniture apart. I still do need to knock a star off because of the initial issue, but I am very pleased with my experience with the seller overall. The seller gets 5 stars.

Easy to put together. Great piece for the closet. Would buy again.

Whew! Idk why this took me so long to put together. I’m one of those people that loves putting furniture together. It’s my version of puzzles. But this was a little annoying. It is made well for particle board. It is easy to put together. I started off with a screwdriver bc I wanted to be careful not to break anything. Got lazy after the first piece, got my drill, went by fast until I didn’t listen to the instructions and used it on a section that literally shows a screwdriver smh yes, it broke. But i just put it on the bottom shelf and it worked out. Do not put too much weight on this or hold too hard while you’re putting it together. I would buy again. Drawers are a little shallow for me. I bought this for my 7yo son’s closet for his undergarments/jammies/ etc so it would do for him. An adult would need two of these.

The dresser is good quality for the price , it has wide drawers. The height is right around your hip area, good to transition from nursery to big kid room functionality . I will say the assembly is a bit time consuming but not difficult to do so.

For being a 160$ dresser it is poorly made and is not representative of the description upon arrival.It’s partial board but in the description it says “Wood” .A piece arrived broken and the directions are terrible .No where does it say keep the sliding rail off to the side for later so as I’m installing a drawer I cant install the sliding piece of the bracket to the drawer because of the latch mechanism not being accessible now .it takes to long to put together for what it is and overall has been a nightmare.I used gorilla wood glue to hold the board but I doubt it will help much.I’ve spent 5 + hours on this thing and still have to put all the drawers together .
