Being said that, I am using this particular rice cooker for the first time. It did all that it says in the manual, but it didn’t cook my rice! And using a rice cooker is not new to me. What am I doing wrong? I press the power on, and then select the kind of rice, cooking lit up but it didn’t cook my rice. As if I mis-step but there is only one way before I can select the kind of rice. So I just unplug it and did the same step for the 2nd time, this time it cooked my rice but it’s a little under done. And I followed the rice/water ratio right since I’ve been using the same jasmine rice for so long and I do eat rice daily.2ND UPDATE:Change from 3 to 5 stars! Used it for the second time, and it worked as it should without any problem! Rice came out really fluffy and cooked perfectly. I’m so glad I got this one to replace my old Cuisnart.
