What's so special about this large hair towel and regular hair-drying towel?

Is it suitable for long hair and waist length hair

Anyone use this to cover your shoulders so that the styling products don't get on your skin?

I don’t think it would work. It’s shaped like a cap with a long tail. Not sure you could drape it over your shoulders. It’s a great hair turban though!
