Nail Care, Hard To Resist Nail Strengthener, Glow & Shine, 0.46 fl oz

I have no idea how this nail polish stayed on my nails the first week I used it. I use a lot of sanitizer and other solvents at work. Usually, I wear gloves but inevitably it will touch my skin and nails. It did not budge and I was impressed! However, the following weeks it just flaked off my nails every 2 to 3 days. I can't take stars off, tho. It is not as durable as I thought, but it still hardens the nails and conditions them thoroughly. No complaints. I use essies hard to resist to maintain and enhance my nail health and it does a fantastic job. The product is hot pink in the bottle but on the nails it's only a hint of sheer color. I usually add a coat every 2 to 3 days to maintain the shine after the initial application of 2 coats. 4 coats is visibly pink but not overbearing, just not natural anymore. If you flood your cuticles they will look bloodshot after multiple coats. Nails are harder, not bendy and grow without splitting or peeling. I love it. You can still break your nails by being careless. Don't forget to moisturize your hands and nails regularly, because no polish on this planet can counteract the damage of dried out crumbly nails and cuticles.

I typically don’t leave reviews, but in this case I have to for this product. To preface my nails are in terrible shape after years upon years of abuse due to acrylic overlay, S&S dip powder, and ripping them off when they grow out because I was too impatient to get them removed by a professional. I have since decided to grow out my real nails, and while all the damaged nail is grown out, I’m trying to get my real nails healthy and to be stronger so I decided to try this product. I wanted to give it a few days after reading the previous reviews stating that there was peeling and chipping in some cases on the same day as application . I did not expect much because I don’t have luck in this department. However, I was surprisingly shocked. I do A LOT of cleaning, cooking, and washing my hands constantly because we have a giant breed dog who slobbers . I also work an 8 hour job at a desk where I’m typing all day. I am not gentle on my nails at all, and I never have been . Needless to say this product has held up beautifully. There has been no peeling no lifting no chipping no cracking, or anything. I highly highly recommend this product…. it’s fantastic. I love the slight pink tint it gives to my nails as well. I did 2 coats 2 days ago on clean dry nails, so no lotion or anything. it dries very quickly, and they look the same today as they did when I put it on. A few days ago. I use cuticle oil at night as well thinking maybe it would affect the product but no issues and No notes! LOVE IT!

Definitely helped my peeling, brittle and easily broken nails. Like the other reviews say however, doesn’t last long. To be fair I am doing dishes daily and using bleach. I find myself reapplying every 3 days there about. The color is very pretty. 2 coats gives a hint of rose and 3 really is pretty. First pic is one coat second is two coats

Update: L’Oreal sent me a refund —— Update: The cap is no longer attached to the brush, which makes the Essie Hard to Resist nail hardener unusable. The problem started 2 weeks after the Amazon return window closed. Not enough glue? I have requested a replacement from L’Oreal. ——- This product strengthened my weak nails. Very happy with the results. I used it in conjunction with Onset Secret Nail Reboot Buffer and Nail-Aid Keratin 3 Day Growth.

This didn’t really do anything for me. I like Essie products but this one was just “ok”. It peels quickly and the pink didn’t really make my nails look healthy or vibrant, either.

I don’t write reviews often, but my friends keep asking how I suddenly got my nails to grow so long, so here I am! This is seriously the only thing that has ever gotten my brittle, thin nails to stop breaking. I typically do 2 coats and then the seche vite top coat to make it last a little longer. It does tend to flake or peel after a couple days, so I have to reapply every 3-5 days depending on how it’s holding up. But that’s a small price to pay for finally, FINALLY getting my nails to grow out.

The product color is glow and shine and that is exactly how it looks on the nails. The nails look fresh and clean. The price is great too. I will buy this again.

This product is worthless, chips off immediately. I should have taken the warning from other reviews that this product chips or peel off quickly because it does. Two layers, dried inbetween, and chipped off before the end of the day. Tried a second time the next day, adding a third layer and it actually ended up chipped off MORE. Pictures show where the polish ends. My nails have been extra weak recently despite biotin supplements and no polish. I was hoping this product would help. It seems to have made my nails worse, as where I am having breakage issues is where the product peels/chips off...so it doesn't help at all. Amazon is truly a rip off anymore, as you can't return this junk. I understand it is a hygiene issue, but amazingly TEMU will return most anything, most times allowing you to keep/donate the item. You can't tell me a large company like Amazon can't do the same. It's greed. I have had several issues recently, including opened packages and damaged items being delivered, this is just the cherry on top. I am glad I cancelled my Prime membership last year and I WON'T ever be renewing. I suggest people buy Sally Hansen Hard as Nails from any local grocery/drug store...it works far better and at a fraction of the cost of this crap. Back to Sally I go.

I like to research products before I purchase. I found a number of on-line reviews of this Essie 'Hard to Resist' nail strengthener -- the number of positive recommendations prompted me to try it. So far, it has lived up to the advertising. It has a gentle pinkish glow -- not garish in the least -- and gives your nails a neatly buffed appearance. It is not high gloss like many top coats -- it is much more subtle. I have worn it for about one week and so far, there has not been any chipping of the product, and my nails are not splitting or peeling. I will try it over the next few months to monitor its effectiveness and will update this review, if necessary. So far, I highly recommend this product, and bonus -- it's not expensive.

I really liked this product to make my natural nails looks stronger and the touch of light pink effect what makes the difference with a healthy shiny look
