Brook Pocket Auto Catch Plus - Upgraded Version of Auto Catch, Auto Spin and Catching Pocket Monsters, Collecting Items, Wristband Bracelet Accessory

i am an extremely skeptical person when buying things online. if something is not 100% up to my (very high) expectations, i’d say so.with that being said, i LOVE this autocatcher. it was easy to pair up, easy to charge, works as intended (it catches pokemon automatically using pokeballs, as well as auto spins pokestops AND gym pokestops!) and surprisingly well-made.the only complaints i have is the short length of the charging cable (only about 4 inches!) and the bracelet you’re meant to wear it in. every time i put the device in i feel like i’m gonna break it 😭i use this when out on bike rides and it’s seriously a game changer. no constant button pressing. no loud sounds. it just does it’s thing in the backgroundside note, ig my ability to lose things is a superpower because i already lost the bracelet for wearing it. but that’s my own fault, not the company’s ^^will update this review after com days and such!

I'd say you need to have this if you're going to grind past level 30. I was on the fence for a long time if I really needed one of these and I'm glad I finally bought one. I did a lot of research on which device to buy and finally landed on this one based on price and other reviews of this vs the gotcha. I'm very pleased with the brook pocket auto catch+. It's not perfect but then none of these devices are. All of them disconnect from time to time or sometimes pogo just crashes which causes disconnect. But even when it does disconnect it's pretty easy to reconnect, usually just push a button in pogo and the red circle on the device. It's great that it vibrates at you to alert when it disconnects. I'm using this on Android with a Samsung S22. One big thing to mention about functionality is the app settings in pogo over ride the settings on the device. For example say you set your device to catch pokemon but in the pogo game settings, in the pokemon GO plus settings, under notifications, you have Nearby Pokemon unchecked, the device will not catch pokemon even though you set it to do so. Just something worth looking at if your device isn't doing what you ask it. I've hit pokestops going close to 60mph with this thing but that's rare. The device and game need time to communicate with each other and the stop has to be perfect or else you'll drive out of range before it can register a spin. Point is it's capable of this. One last thing, you really need your bag storage and pokemon storage to be large to really take advantage of this thing. About 1k each is enough but I'll blow through 500 poke balls easily driving around for work fairly slowly often times.

Worked for a year, when it felt like connectingNow touch screen won't respond anymore. Since after warranty it's garbage now and companies customer service is a joke.

I've had the pleasure of using the Brook Auto Catcher Plus for about 6 months, and I'm honestly impressed. Are there things that I wish were different about this device? Absolutely, but for what it's worth, I'm pleased with my experience so far. I purchased this device because I recently started a new job at a church, which happens to be a Pokemon Go Gym. Along my way to work, I pass by 10 pokestops, and it just seemed like a no-brainer that I could take advantage of my situation by catching Pokemon automatically at work and scanning the gym multiple times throughout the day as I work. I calculated that if the auto-catcher works, it can scan the gym every 5 minutes.The device itself is comfortable and lightweight, connecting via Bluetooth. Many complaints on Amazon claim that this device disconnects frequently. Spoiler... it does sometimes. Pokemon Go, by default, has this and all other Pokemon Go Plus accessories disconnecting after 1 hour, so you will be reconnecting every hour. I have seen this disconnect sooner than an hour and disconnect after an hour. So, disconnectivity is hit or miss, but it also depends on the proximity between the Brook Auto Catcher and your phone. Additionally, I’ve found that if you don’t have Pokémon go app opened you’re more likely to experience connectivity issues vs just having the app in the background. If you are within 6 feet of your phone, this device performs well. This device has about a 15-foot range and gets weaker the farther you get from it, so once you go past that range, you have to reconnect. Thankfully, the interface of this device notifies you when it disconnects so you can easily reconnect and get right back to spinning pokestops and catching Pokemon.On the subject of catching Pokemon and spinning pokestops, this device prioritizes catching Pokemon over spinning pokestops if you have both settings turned on. If you turn catching off, then it will only spin pokestops and gyms. From experience while driving, I've noticed that this device both struggles to spin pokestops and surprisingly spins pokestops and gyms from a far distance and at a high rate of speed. However, I'm guessing this is not the auto-catcher device, but your phone device and its connectivity to the internet. If that is poor, then the Brook Auto Catcher will struggle to spin pokestops. Regarding catching Pokemon, the Brook Auto Catcher mimics the Pokemon Go Plus accessory in that it will only use Pokeballs to catch nearby Pokemon. You cannot switch between Great Balls and Ultra Balls at this time. I've read that the new Pokemon Go Plus accessory will be able to switch between balls, so this may be just a firmware update in order to use this feature. Regardless, using Pokeballs only means your catch rate is 30-40% successful if you are higher than level 30. You will run out of balls quickly when using this device, so before you turn the auto-catching mode on, make sure you have a lot of Pokeballs.Overall, I'm pleased with what it can do. I will report if the device stops working, and if disconnectivity continues. Below is my note for the developer:Note to the developer:I wish it could be hard-coded into the device that when I run out of Pokeballs, it should prioritize spinning pokestops and gyms. Very frequently, I run out of balls, and the Brook Auto Catcher Plus will continue to try to catch Pokemon instead of spinning pokestops to replenish the Pokeball stock. If this could be figured out, this would be a perfect auto-catcher.6 month Update:The device has been working for 6 months until it fell out of the wrist band holder. The touch screen no longer works so you cannot cycle between settings. A total bummer.

I've been using this for 3 days, and it's been a good buy. First of all, the battery life is actually better than advertised. I charged it up 3 days ago, and have actively used it for about 10 hours of that time-frame. It is still showing me more than 75% battery. It also works quite well, as it was able to successfully spin a pokestop off the side of the highway at 73 mph this morning. It does disconnect hourly, as expected. (This is a programmed game mechanic, not a fault of the device.) It does disconnect much more when I'm in an area with lots of signal traffic. But that's the only fault I've found. Good product! I put mine in a necklace case.
