I really like this Cabin Air Filter for my 2018 Subaru Forester. My AC works very well and it seems it works better now. I get that the filter is clean but I remember when my filter was last replaced and it wasn't this noticeable of a difference. The price is great. The ease of installation and replacement was appreciated. No issues to report.

Fits my 2017 Subaru Crosstrek perfectly. Seems to be a good quality filter and has held up for 16000 miles. Some filters are so low quality that they collapse or tear in use. The filter media seems a little papery, which makes me question the holding capacity. It does have a lot of pleats and is as pictured in this listing. Stamped Made in South Korea.

Great fit in the Forester

Boy am I glad I did this. We had a musty smell coming from the vents when we got our Crosstrek. Swapped this new cabin filter in and the smell is gone.Install is super easy. You just push in gently on the sides of the glovebox (it’ll make sense once you open the glovebox and see how it sits in there) and let it rotate downward and out of the way. This exposes the plastic end of the filter. Pinch the tabs toward each other a bit and it slides out. Pull it out slowly because yours will probably be caked in junk like ours was.I slipped my phone in and took a picture to see if there was any debris inside that’d make noise when the fan is turned back on and was able to reach in to grab it. You could probably vacuum it if you needed.Then, just slip the new filter in until it clicks in place, put your glove box back in place and you’re done! The whole thing took me less than 5 minutes.

On average, the Subaru dealer will charge between 85-100 dollars to replace your cabin air filter. It takes all of 5 minutes to replace, at best. I seriously doubt there is a significant difference between their OEM brand and Purolator's (or any other after-market brand, for that matter)Bottom-line, buy your own filter, buy the least expensive filter, replace it yourself, and save a lot of money.My only gripe with this brand ... there's a big American flag proudly displayed on the box, with the words "An American Brand since 1923" printed below. Yet, on the filter itself, it's stamped "Made in South Korea". I guess what they actually meant is that the box is made in America? :-/

The installation takes all of five minutes. Subaru charges $140 to change the cabin air filter which makes this a great deal. Quality construction, shipped quickly, highly recommended.

Here is the perfect formula for pissing off your customers. (1) Make an air filter with a very thin, flimsy plastic ridge (2) place this filter in a box made of the cheapest, flimsiest cardboard you can find (3) ship this error waiting to happen in an envelope rather than a box (4) charge more than $20 for this.This is the second one that I ordered and each came with the plastic frame broken in just about the same spot.This is really bad quality on so many levels.

The PurolatorONE cabin filter that I purchased for my Subaru Forester was made exceptionally well, great value and was easy to install. I will definitely buy another PurolatorONE cabin filter when I need to replace this in the future. Buying this item on Amazon was a great value and it was delivered to my home!

Installed this filter on my 2015 Subaru Forester in the Fall of 2018. Installation was very easy, just drop the glove box & slide out the old & slide in the new. It's late spring 2019 and the filter is still in very good shape as the winters in Toronto are not dusty. Should last into the fall for a new replacement. Good product.

Price was ok compared to dealer- but still a bit overpriced- fit wasfine, works- y to install
