I'm happy with this purchase. I'm Korean and my hair tends to have a mind of its own without styling products. This bristle brush helps me to tame the beast prior to putting in my product. It can be used on wet or dry hair. The boar bristles has a nice balance between soft and firm. They smooth the hair down without pulling or scratching the scalp, making it comfortable to use. The wooden handle feels sturdy and comfortable in the hand, giving it a more premium feel compared to plastic brushes. It’s lightweight but still solid enough to feel durable. This boar bristle brush quickly became my favorite hair tool. The bristles are firm but gentle, helping to evenly distribute natural oils from my scalp down the hair shaft, which leaves my hair looking shiny and healthy without any added products. It’s sturdy, well-made, and comfortable to hold. I also noticed less frizz and improved manageability after just a few uses. Color- pretty wood design, exactly as shown in picture. How it’s holding up- only had it for a few moths now but it works just as well as when I got it. Quality- you can tell it’s great quality just by holding it. I for sure dropped it over 20 times onto hard tile floor and it doesn’t even have a dent. Design- love the thick, easy to hold handle and how the head of the brush is slightly rounded for easier styling and brushing. Didn’t give five stars because I think the bristles are a little soft. I really have to go over my hair a bunch of times to get that smooth straight top. Overall great brush. If anyone’s wondering I have something between wavy and curly hair. It’s possible I just need to find a different slicking brush with harder bristles made for my kind of hair. I’m very happy with the buy though. I have a lot of slicking brushes and this is by far my favorite one.

This boar bristle hairbrush is seriously the best, especially for creating a slick bun. I use it for my daughter who dances, and it has made such a difference in her hairstyles. We previously had a more expensive brush, but the bristles were too soft and just didn’t hold the hair in place for a clean slick bun. This one is different in the best way, the bristles are more stiff, which is exactly what you need to smooth everything down properly. If you’re trying to achieve that tight, polished dance bun, this is it. Say goodbye to bumps and flyaways!

Great brush to do a slick back hairstyle. My daughter play sports during the hot humid months and using this brush to pull back her hair into a ponytail keeps all the flyaways intact . I would definitely recommend this brush.

Better than I expected.

This is NOT only boar bristle brush, it also has plastic bristles which is not listed, maybe roughly 50% is plastic. I did the burn test. Plastic melts and becomes solid Hair burns and crumbles away

It was fantastic

I was expecting real boar bristles for this price but I’m pretty sure they’re plastic. Brush came in a cheap plastic, whole thing made in China.
