Having used a lot of home automation devices over the years (including X-10 and Z-Wave), this one is superior. Their installation process is quick and simple. They supply QR codes to get you started. The smart phone app is easy to use and intuitive. Another good thing is there are no fees to operate it unless you have a lot of sensor activity (high SMS traffic), but the fees are modest. I have heard that integrating to Alexa might be a problem but since I don't use that, I don't care. Having just installed it, only time will tell if it is truly a winner. However, since the hubs are inexpensive, I plan on getting a spare. I believe that installing a new or multiple hubs is pretty easy also. After using this for 6 weeks, I still find it to work very well. The only issue I have encountered is the area I am in has sporadic but brief power outages which can disrupt the operation of the dimmers and switches but they have a retry function available. Update: This product is a winner. Been using this for over a year. Again, their app works well and is easy to use and as far as I have been able to determine, they have all imaginable functions and features covered. All of their devices work well and are reasonably priced, especially compared to Z-Wave. The variety of devices available is outstanding and their solution for operating garage door openers is remarkable. YoLink's customer service is responsive and helpful. Found one small issue with pairing a device: one of the fobs is black with white printing used for the QR code pairing. Their app only recognizes black printing with a white background. The workaround was to scan the QR code, reverse the image and have the app scan the reversed image.

YoLink has many home monitoring systems including water links, video and thermostats. I use only the water leak detection system. The system uses an app to program and control leak detectors that automatically detect and send notifications to email and mobile phone. I also installed an online inline automated water valve to turn off the water if a leak is detected. I have placed a detector near the washing machine, the refrigerator and dishwasher, and the water heater. Basically, anywhere there could be water leaks, there is a small detector. The detectors also have great range. I even put one near the intake from the well to monitor for frozen pipes. The system works extremely well. It will also connect to the internet to allow for online control anywhere there is internet. However, internet is NOT needed for the system to detect and turn off the water. But is needed for online control and notification. Not sure if you can set up for a phone call notification. The valve cutoffs are very good quality and work flawlessly. I have the model that allows you to simply fit it to the existing cutoff valve. This setup allows for a simple install usually without a plumber. There is also an improved inline cutoff valve that sadly was not available when I installed my system. This newer improved model completely replaced the existing cutoff valve. Or you could install the new inline valve in addition to the existing valve. Mine is in the pump house but it can easily be installed in the water cutoff box coming from the street. The system worked well for multiple years until I began having “detector offline” notifications. YoLink support worked immediately with me to diagnose and solve the issue. They even added an additional hub at their expense. All in, a very well designed and constructed system with excellent customer support. The app is also top quality. I would definitely recommend YoLink for instant peace of mind that your home will not be flooded while at work or traveling.

Product is excellent! Moved to a new spot and needed some security but wanted to skip the subscription. This company is A+ and everything works and integrates beautifully! Definitely recommend!

This is the main piece for the Yolink automation and monitoring systems. It's easy to set up as I have installed it in my equipment closet under the stairs to my attic right in the middle of my home. It gives plenty of range for all the devices and their interaction seems to be solid. My only concern as a former programmer is that they don't provide adequate written documentation. Right now they depend on YouTube videos. I am, though, very satisfied with the hardware itself and plan to use it. And the manufacturer has assured me that they will work with me to figure out the programming. Installed second Hub at end of House near generator whose metal cabinet blocked the signal causing an instability due to low signal strength. Problem fixed.

YoLink is a great product with many to choose from. I have water leaks detectors under every sink, behind every toilet, by the washing machine, AC pan and by the water heater. It has already alerted me to a leaky faucet. I also have temperature/humidity sensors in both my refrigerators and freezers. The refrigerator door was accidentally left open in my garage and the sensor alerted me when the temperature had risen above my set parameters. Saved me the loss of everything in my fridge! I also have the temperature float for my pool so I always know the temperature of the water. Love it!! They’re so easy to set up and use. Just love their products. I even got a discount on my homeowners insurance for having the least detection system installed!! I have already had a few friends and family also purchase and install YoLink sensors. They all are very happy with the system and its various uses and capabilities. Highly recommend YoLink. Their customer service should you need them is excellent! Couldn’t be happier with these products!

It works and was easy to setup.

This is the second hub I have purchased from YoLink. I added it to my shop for better coverage inside a metal building. It is much more compact than the original one I purchased. It works great and I am glad to see they continue to make improvements in their products.

This is one of several products I’ve bought from Yolink. I have several water sensors and thermometers as well I use thermometers outside in temperatures that go as low as -30. Over the course of 2 years none of the sensors have malfunctioned and they still have more than 3/4 battery charge. I had a speaker that started glitching after a1.5 years and I when I contacted the company through email they instantly responded and promptly sent a replacement. Highly recommend them

La configuración no batallé con el cable ethernet, batallé un poco con el WiFi pero finalmente quedó configurado. Le conecté dos sensores de energía y lo reconoció de inmediato. La aplicación está muy intuitiva. Y buena calidad de los productos, el HUB, el cable de alimentación y el eliminador de corriente. Todo de excelente calidad. El Hub y 1 sensor los puse en la Oficina y el otro sensor de energía en la farmacia que queda a 1 cuadra de la oficina. Gran alcance.
