American Girl Julie Doll & Paperback Book

My granddaughter just turned 9. This is what she wanted and this she got. She is very happy.

Do you seriously have to have to ask? Hottest ticket of Christmas 2020! Don’t know how or why but people were standing in long lines and on e-lines for her! (On the day I bought her I saw the price jump $35 at Kmart in a few hours!). Needless to say 7 year old recipient was beyond thrilled! Beyond! Btw - came beautifully packaged as well, though could have come wrapped in newspaper for all she cared!

My 6 year old granddaughter was thrilled to open up this doll on Christmas morning - it was just what she wanted!

This was a birthday present for my granddaughter. She was saving her own money to buy Julie and wishes came true. It made her cry “best gift she received for her 9th birthday”

I still don’t understand why these dolls are so expensive but this seller is no higher than anyone else. They’re no cheaper though either. Genuine American Girl Doll that is exactly as described. The package arrived in perfect condition so, if you’re a collector, your original American Girl Doll packaging will still be in pristine condition. I bought this as a gift for my 9 year old daughter and she is absolutely ecstatic about it.

The doll is great, but the book is garbage. I am a single father of 3 and stopped reading this book to my daughter as it is propaganda about how men don't believe women should be independent. I am appalled I spent money on this now knowing the author believes men are insecure critics who think a woman's place is in the home. Surprised the author didn't kill him off in a tragic airline crash that of course would be his fault. Buy this book if you believe men are evil and want to program your daughters for disappointment from a cold heartless father who has no time for his kids.Why not write a book that resonates a bit more with current state of divorce. Maybe one where Julie has to deal with mommy's excess of Sauvignon blanc and long alcohol induced naps that lead to Julie having to raise herself. Mommy drinks away her depression and leaves the kids to wonder if all the negative stories about how daddy has no time for them actually are false. They fight against the role modeling of promiscuity as inebriated mommy tries to find husband #2 so she can continue to stay home and lose more custody of the kids due to poor choices.Author is a complete hack. The funny part is the fact that American Girl franchise has actual doll spas where you can take your daughter and her doll to have spa type services for the doll at astronomical prices. They actually advocate girls being spa pampered princess. And she writes about how mommy was a repressed entrepreneur. This kind of garbage ruins young girls. Last purchase ever of this crap.P.S. Please feel free to label me as angry divorced father. You will be labeling a father who actually has custody of his kids and balances work to be with them. I raise my kids to believe in hard work and and not judging others. I write this review because I am horrified at the liberties the author and franchise take after being paid handsomely for a doll.

My granddaughter screamed when I gave her this! Pricey but worth it to see that look on her face. She loves it! Doll is well made.

Very realistic doll. I gave this doll to my grand niece for Christmas. She was overjoyed and added to her other dolls. She sleeps with it at night and enjoys sharing it with her neighborhood girl friends.

Daughter loves it. Good quality.
