It only has one set of holes.
I purchased this item specifically because it has two sets of holes and is compatible with both old and new instep trailers, but it only has the vertical holes and is of no use to me. Very unfortunate, it took a while to find this and by the time it came in kiddo was excited to go for a ride and we're back to square one.

Work great
Solid couplers. Fit my trailer perfectly. They feel very solid and I have pulled my daughter in her bike trailer many times with no concerns.

Awesome bike trailer coupler, I feel so much safer.
I installed this to my electric bike with a 2 seater bike trailer. It worksike a champ. I feel very safe with this one vs my old one that doesn't have as many perks. This was also cheaper and I was able to give my dad the second one for his same set up that I have and he's super happy with my purchase too.

A good fit for Schwinn carts
Fit our bikes perfectly. Easy to install. Used with Schwinn kids wagon.

takes an inset nut
This seemed like a sturdy coupler. It didn't work for me as the nut on my bike axel has a flange on it for safety purposes. The coupler has space for the nut to be inset in the coupler. Due to the flange, I was unable to screw the nut on more than a few threads, so not safe for my bike. A new nut without the flange could fix the issue, so long as it doesn't compromise any safety features the flange is part of.
