Hi and thanks for stopping by! The copper comes in sheets. It is first sanded to open up the grain and allow colored stains or heat to penetrate. I hand draw on the design and then use tools made for the craft of metal working. Some of those tools are what we all have around the house. The idea is to take the drawing and emboss, hammer or do anything to bring the drawing to a 3D effect and too life. I also use a 1500 watt heat gun to bring out different colors in the copper and the heating process can be a fun surprise, rarely knowing what it will produce as the end result and will it stay or fade away. The finished pieces can either be hung on the wall or just sitting on a piece of furniture. All my pieces are sealed for long lasting beauty. These piece are from "me to you", enjoy.................
