Conveniently collapsible and lightweight but......
I like the fact that it's collapsible. I just don't think that the thin aluminum material will last long. Certainly not on larger fish. The gaff hook is sized for larger fish, but I don't think the shaft is strong enough to handle them.

Nice length.
Works as it should

Don't use this for big fish
This gaff is fine for light fish. The hook is not sharp enough to pierce the skin of tuna or shark, and the lightweight aluminum shaft bends easily under heavy weight.

Like duty telescoping gaff
It is nicely built as far as I can tell, but if you use it on something over 50 pounds it will mostly likely be the last time you use it. So, ok for 15-20 pounders, too light for big fish, Just know this going into it. I like it and I am keeping it!
