Not perfect, but useful and a reasonable price
I have a toddler who likes to go in and out A LOT. We needed to come up with a solution to accommodate his "needs." We did not want to invest in a door, but we did want to reduce the opportunity for bugs to come in the house. I looked online for this type so screen and this one seemed to fit the bill and had a good price. It took 10 minutes or less to install and required no tools. It came with no instructions, but did not really require them. There is a long strip of velcro for the top and several 4 inch strips to space out on the sides. The other side of the velcro is already affixed to the screen. The screen is more durable that modern window screens. It is more of a woven mesh and is easy to see (no one will walk into in without see it). The magnets work well to shut the seam. Even our dachshund has figured out how to use it. The door is not a one-size-fits-all. I did have to gather the screen in the corners a bit, but this screen is less than $30. I never expected a custom fit. Overall a good product for a good price.UPDATE: we have had a hot summer. The velcro glue did not hold up. It will be necessary to use screws to secure your velcro to keep the glue from gumming up and getting loose.

Works great! I'm ordering a second one!Update: it's been up for 3 months and it's still working great. Our kids go in and out like 100 times a day while playing outside! Only thing is when we're going back inside we have to make sure the magnets stick back together at the bottom. Probably because it gets stuck to the bottom metal door frame.*if my review is helpful, please let Amazon know by hitting the YES helpful button :)

Very happy with purchase
We came across this kind of magnetic screen a year ago at a friends house (Magic Mesh ) and immediate got one. It was a very poor decision. I order this to replace ours one year old screen and I am very happy with this one so far. I am writing this review a few months after the purchase, so I am not sure how long it will last, but so far it had major improvements compared with the last one.1) The magnets are sew inside the and already come close. It was very easy to install, much easier than the previous one. Just add the velcro to the back of the curtain, remove the white paper, and press on the door. Then add the metal pins2) Much stronger mesh than the previous one. We have two dogs (black labrador 90 lbs and bagle 40 lbs) in and out of the backdoor every two seconds any time of the year, very loving friendly plain full (I mean playful). The last mesh was in shred like rags from a horror movie. This mesh stays on place and did even get a sew out of order (yet)Cons1) there is very small gaps where the mesh was folded that did not went away. It is not a big deal and much better than before, but it is noticeable and can let a few persistent mosquitoes get in (Florida official owners)2) You need be very careful with the metal pins falling out of place. two metal pins close to the bottom already come lose and it can be real dangerous when walking barefoot (as I often too when at home). I don't think this is a design problem, but the dogs playing hard and charging full speed in and out. Just be advice it can happen. I add some pictures.

Better but not perfect.
This is the 3rd magnetic bug screen that I have purchased and it is the best one I to date, however it does have some flaws. The good points are: 1. It is very well constructed and looks like it will last a long time. Previous screens I have owned like "Magic Mesh" are not sewn at the seams as good and only last about one season before the hem separates from the mesh, 2. The full width hook and loop strip across the top also makes very secure mounting. Here are the flaws I noticed: 1. The width was on the narrow side for my 36 inch door. I could not mount it on the outer edge of the door frame. I had to mount it on the inner lip and this required cutting the hook and loop strip in half. The drawback of this is that the sides aren't as secure as they have been on previous screens I have used. This also allows small gaps along the edge for small insects to enter. 2. The magnets sewn into the seam also presents a problem with gaps for insects to enter. Models with the magnets mounted externally have a better seam overlap. If the manufacturer would make it an inch wider and provide better overlap at the magnets it could be an excellent product.

We bought the White color screen to match our door frame for our backdoor. The product works fine but the White lining around the mesh got all moldy after a couple of days of a long rain event. The backdoor is under a breezeway and protected from direct rain. No amount of cleaning could get the mold stains out. Pretty disgusting. I wish we could return the product but the 30 day return period was over.

Excellent product
Bought 2 of these 2 years ago but fitted them this month. They are so much better than any of the others I have had over the years that I have ordered another even though it is much more expensive now. Fits easily, works really well and seems it will last. Really pleased with item and delivery. Would buy from this supplier again without hesitating.

Worth every penny
This is a real good quality fly screen. I've had several ones that I had bought of ebay that looked similar, those have now ripped or magnets fallen off. This one has lasted me months without any wear or tear to the net or magnets. Highly recommended.Pros:+ Good strong magnetics inside the seam+ Net closes and clicks automatically back into place after you walk through it, due to the force of the magnets+ Keeps even the smallest of insects out of your houseCons:- The included adhesive doesn't stick well to walls however the pins are a good substitute for this (also included)

Not great for smaller doors
My door was smaller than the maximum size for the net but as it said "up to 34 inches" I thought I would be OK. However, there are no instructions on how to adapt the net to a smaller door, not even on the FAQs on the company website. A search on you tube showed someone who offered advice that involved ironing on tape and was too difficult for me. So I just pleated the top and stapled it. I attached the screen successfully and it feels very firmly attached to the door frame (upvc). However, the net is also too long for my door so the bottom foot or so just lays on the ground. I can't cut it or fold it due to the magnets. It also means that the magnets at the bottom of the door do not easily attract. I can see someone eventually standing on it while trying to open the screen and causing damage. It is a good quality product and if you have a door that exactly matches the dimensions I would recommend it, otherwise be wary.

The screen was very easy to install
Firstly, I must say how quickly my order was dispatched to me. I ordered the screen on a Saturday and received t on the Monday. The screen was very easy to install, since the screen has been in place we haven't been bothered by any flies, bees and other flying insects. We have two doge who looked a little suspicious at first but go through it with no problems. I would certainly recommend this screen.

Seems Good But Needs Improved Design.
Less impressed than I'd hoped to be. Seems a decent quality. Better than the cheap version I bought from a filling station a few years back. But suffers from the same design flaw. The 'one size fits all' design is less than ideal. Turns out it's wider than the uPVC doorframe so when the top is in position the edges are further out and needs to stick outside the doorframe. Trying to stick them to a rendered wall (especially one 90° to the frame) proves impossible. It just falls off. So one has to fold/bunch the top to get the edges onto the frame. Hardly ideal. Then the length. It also is long so is likely to trip folk up, and rubbing on the floor/bottom of the doorframe ensure the screen fails to come together by itself lower down. Seems a shame to cut it; now trying to contemplate best way to hem it up. Could sew but I'm less than keen. Maybe use velcro, or tape. I have yet to decide. In short, clearly good quality, but the designers need to sort out a variable width/length design.

Best I've had!
If you can't have built-in screen doors like they do in the States, this is next best thing. The magnets are strong & the curtain does snap together by itself. Ours is a couple of inches too long so we usually have to fuss with the bottom part, but the curtain hangs straight & does the job. It was absolutely a breeze to put up & the velcro is super strong. They even included some tacks to use in places where it would get extra wear (at least I think that's what they were for.) We've had it up two weeks now & that door gets a lot of use. So far, the screen hasn't pulled away from the velcro. There are no instructions with the screen, but it's so straight forward, you don't really need any. It does give a website, however, if you have any questions. If you have to have one (if you live in a climate where there are bugs & flying insects), this is a great one to have.

Worth every penny...sooooo much better than the cheaper versions!
I have had cheaper ones previously....that fall apart easily (Velcro tearing off, holes etc...).....this one is much more robust....and having the Velcro all around the edges means it can be secured more easily (I haven't put Velcro all over the door frame...have just used it in the places where the old Velcro was from the cheaper version....) but because it is tougher it doesn't tear/rip if it comes away...The edges of the door are fully magnetic and this too is much stronger...after a week of using it I bought another one for our garage door....as I know it is money well spent!Update on 2017....it gets a lot of heavy use....And after our first one was fab the middle one was a little less so....the top not snapping shut so readily so problems ensued.....however this one is once again perfect so I think we just has a less than perfect one.....can't recommend enough....although shame the price has risen so much since our first one!

Solid, sturdy, heavy magnets quality netting too
I have had this in situ now for 1 month and best purchase I have made in years. Excellent quality heavy magnets. Walk through the netting, which is dense and not at all flimsy, and the magnets snap together behind you. They are strong and sturdy which do not move in the wind. They come up larger than our door frame but I tweaked them a little by just tacking the net in places. Well worth the little effort needed. The Velcro is really strong kind of heavy duty. I mounted the adhesive strips first, then hung net too it, then tacked net to make it tighter. It now fits snug I also tied shoe laces to net so I could tie it back when not in use.

Very good quality.
So glad that I took the plunge and bought this screen. Over the last few years I have had all sorts of screens, of course cheaper, and they have all ended up in the bin at the end of the week. I sew for a living, and some of them were so terribly made that I couldn't even alter them. This screen is absolutely brilliant, the magnets are far stronger than the cheaper versions, and because they are sewn into the seam, they provide a really good seal, with no gaps. The side Velcro is also sewn on, not stuck on, so you stand a good chance of it staying in place on the frame. There will always be the possibility of the Velcro coming away from the frame, but a bit of white spirit first really helps with that. Very, very, very pleased with this screen, well done for making a good product.

Good stuff!
What a quality insect screen. The edges of the screen has one of the sides of velcro sewn onto it. All you have to do is stick the hook side of the velcro onto your door surround, then put the screen onto that. The magnets are sewn in and the curtains close tightly. The self adhesive velcro that goes on your door frame, is very sticky. I managed it and I have dodgy balance and bad co-ordination due to a head injury. It's 2 years later and I bought a new one (the old one got a bit weather worn and had a few holes in it). I even left the sticky velcro on the door frame from 2 years ago, as it was still well stuck on). You get lovely cold fresh air in the back door, especially on those hot summer days. The quality of the screen is great.

Great bit of kit
Great bit of kit. We've had cheaper ones before and they were rubbish, not enough velcro or magnets and plastic screen. This is much better. Full length magnets and full length velcro. Simply clean degrease the door frame. Decide where you are fitting it. Attach and cut to size the supplied velcro roll. Offer up the screen and attach. Done. So far it's survived a late night party and the constant traffic of my 2 rottweilers. Ours is fitted to the single door on our conservatory.

Excellent quality
Got this to replace one which was starting to go in holes. Good quality and well made. The mix of two types of magnet works much better than my old one. As I don't wish to damage the UPVC door frame- I staple the fly screen to a wooden frame fastened to the surrounding brickwork, so it is not a problem adjusting to fit for me, but could be an issue, as it is quite generously proportioned and bigger than the average door!

Cant ask for more ! except wider option ranges in future for big doors.
AbsoLUTELY amazing! does exactly what needs to be done.! recommended without a doubt! No fuss at all, its more difficult to put a screen protector on your iPhone! Love this ! and the velcro holds very well! will be buying more!My only problem was it was too small for my door but as you can see in the picture i overlapped with another mesh screen i had purchased.Thank u!

Good Quality Product.
Can't comment on the longevity of this product, as we only fitted it today, but so far I'm very impressed. It fits the doorway perfectly in width, with a little to spare at the bottom. The top band is one piece, which gives the screen added stability, and the Velcro runs all the way down both sides, which seems to make it very secure, even in the howling gale which was blowing today while we were fitting the screen. The magnets appear to be very strong and the two sides snap together with a satisfying click. Having had previous cheaper versions, which fall down as soon as you look at them, I fixed a couple of hooks above the top door frame and punched holes in the top band of the screen just to give it some extra support. Seems to be a great product, made from top quality materials. No annoying flies in our house today.
