Fits nicely over the edge of even a rounded countertop. Good quality material, feels hefty and doesn't slide when tamping. Maybe a little on the expensive side but worth the extra over some of the cheaper options.

Does the job but idk feels kind of cheap, not rubber it's more synthetic plastic feeling with a weird wood imitation? Not for me.

Not sure it needs to cost so much, but it IS nice. A good thickness to reduce noise to almost none, the grip texture is natural rather than a repetitive pattern, and I have no feeling that it could tear, dispite the inner corner.

I'm a Normcore shill. If I see a Normcore product, I buy Normcore products. Even though their products cost a little more, I know I am getting a better overall product. Take this review with a grain of salt. I have purchased several rubber tamping mats and stations for my various home espresso setups. The Normcore tamping mat is exactly what I've been looking for. A thicker food-safe rubber that has a grippy bottom, to protect my granite countertops. It does not have imprints, which makes it easier to clean and aesthetically more pleasing due to cleaner visual lines. The mat's width matches my Lelit Mara X's drip tray, making this mat even more visually pleasing. The Normcore Tamping Mat has a light wood-grain texture on top and a bottom that is grippy but not too grippy. The mat is thicker than the rest of the tamping mats I've purchased over the years. I can safely tap my dual spout portafilter on the mat, then rest the portafilter on the mat while tamping. If I drop some grounds on the mat, I can easily wipe it clean or quickly rinse and dry the mat in my sink. Although not critically important, I appreciate that Normcore does not overly brand their products like other brands. Their name/logo is on their products, but its not flashy like others.

Die Normcore Eck Tapingmatte macht einen soliden Eindruck und erfüllt ihren Zweck sehr gut. Das Material wirkt hochwertig und die Matte lässt sich unkompliziert verwenden. Gerade beim Arbeiten mit Klebeband ist sie praktisch, da die Arbeitsfläche sauber und geschützt bleibt. Für meine Zwecke absolut ausreichend und bisher bin ich mit der Verarbeitung zufrieden. Würde ich wieder kaufen.
