I just purchased this and the tank is empty in literally seconds. I contacted the mfg, but have heard nothing. Is this defective?

I just refil it as it empties. It only takes a few seconds to refill from the faucet. I usually refill 4 times per flossing. If you want a large reservoir for the water get the full size version.

I need a replacement charger. Does anyone know where I can find one?

Does it have enough water in one fill of the "tank" to floss the whole mouth or you have to refill it?

Mine only stayed on 7 seconds before running out of water. I had to refill it 10 times and even then I was rushing and didn’t feel I had done a good job. Not a fan.

Is the water supposed to shoot out in spurts on the "normal" setting?

Yes. Water should shoot out in regular intervals instead of one continuous stream.

Overrated

I bought this item after Independent review in online magazine, but purchase became a total disappointment. There is no smooth flow mode, all on strong pulse. Water flow is so strong, hurted my cheeck mucosa and gums. Water tank is way to small, need twice to refill it to finish cleaning. Amazon refunded money.

A must buy

This is my favorite water flosser so far! I've purchased two of them because I like them that much. The pressure settings work well, it's easy to use, and it leaves my teeth and gums feeling much cleaner than traditional flossing alone. The battery life is excellent, and it's convenient for both home use and travel. Highly recommended!
