Unusable WiFi, terrible and clunky app, slow.
Purchased EZVIZ 4MP Indoor Camera, Pan/Tilt Baby Pet Monitor with AI Human and Pet Detection in the Summer of 2022, I set it up and got brief moments of working using WiFi, followed the camera going offline. Updated the software hoping for improved reliability. Connection issues remained. After never getting more than about 24 hours of being online, and in spite of excellent WiFi signal on my phone in the location of the camera, I decided to eliminate all doubt about signal strength and installed a WiFi repeater 4 feet away and in direct line of sight of the camera. Nonetheless, the camera regularly goes offline and requires extensive fiddling (power cycling) to coax it back online--sometimes only long enough to see a single image or make one panning motion with the Pan/Tilt controls. I'll see an image and attempt to pan or tilt the camera and it seems to throw-up on itself and go offline. As I was always intending to get a second camera, I went ahead and purchased a different brand of camera and install it in the same location and do side-by-side comparisons. The other brand is responsive and is reliable in the same location this camera fails. As noted, the app is poorly designed and includes something akin to nagware, encouraging me to use their cloud-services. This camera is a big nope.

Not happy it broke after 2 years
The wires after 2 years will you started breaking down in the camera needed to be torn apart and I need a new connecting cable from the one bottom to the top it's not the greatest after 2 years

This camera was excellent…at first.
This camera was excellent at first, however after about 1 month the camera stopped toggling to moment picked on video. It also got stuck pointing upward, in which we had to force it down so that it wouldn’t be tilted up recording the top of the living room. Overall good picture quality dispute now limited range of movement.

IR stopped working - update
Ezviz support is terrible. I have a support ticket from Sept 22 (3 weeks ago) and they are sending one email per day, either asking a question, asking for pictures of the camera, or asking for more info. It's been a week now since I've heard back from EZVIZ, they have not answered any of my emails, just asking questions and asking for more pictures. I've got a broken camera, under warranty and nothing I can do to have it fixed. I've called the phone number for EZVIZ Canada and they hand up on me two times, third time the person I talked to she said to go ahead and put a support ticket and they will reply to me via email. Update - EZVIZ support came through after a few months and they sent a new replacement camera…
