There are times when this un-orthodox solution is the only one. I'm hoping it lasts without leaks. Easy to install. Good idea.

Get some silicone grease and put it on the black washers that come with this item because those are what keeps it from leaking. You've heard not to over tighten but these need to be pretty tight. Those black washers need to be flush and tight on the surface they are pressing on or it will leak. Other than that, this item is very easy to install and it is just two places to connect not like other traps. I think these are great and I highly recommend. I've seen chrome ones as well that look really nice (at least in pics).

I was in need of a flexible drain line for my laundry utility sink on the off chance it gets bumped. This worked out perfectly. What an awesome product. You could literally install it with just your hands. They even included Teflon tape which was nice. Really is the complete kit. Now keep in mind, if you can use a regular trap go ahead and do that. But in my case the p-trap that was included with the utility sink itself was hot trash and this item stepped up to the plate.

Fit perfectly under my sink

Coming from someone that knows how to do plumbing I didn't want to like this.... However it installed very quickly, easily and without any drips.

I purchased it for my new bathroom sink install and after replacing some old piping I thought this would be what I needed to install my off centered bathroom sink. We tried to swap out the old pipe for this one and once we got everything installed and had the water running it began to leak even with it being installed properly. Nonetheless, had to make a trip to Home Depot to get a more durable pipe. So no, this didn’t work for me and I didn’t even bother with the hassle of returning it.

I'm using this for a temp sink setup to make it easier to install/remove later. Material is a little thin and threads on the couplings a little rough and not smoothest, but it's functional. My main problem is when I tighten the couplings directly to strainer (on 1 end) and a 1 1/2" male coupling (on other end), the included washers that are suppose to go where these 2 junctions are too thin to make a tight seal where the connections (so water leaks from base of couplings). They could have easily supply a few more assorted washers (1-2 cents maybe) but ended up costing me $3-4 and extra trip to hardware store (which defeats the benefit of buying from Amazon).

I'm renovating my kitchen and this device works fairly well for my needs. It's a slow renovation, doing a little whenever I have the time and the energy. I knew it would be a long process, so I created a mini cooking station. I still need to use the sink too, so I have removed all of my cabinets, and made a portable stand for the sink, so when I need to work on the wall where the plumbing is, I can move the sink out of the way without detaching the flexible drain and water supply Makes life a lot easier when you're not a weekend warrior renovator.

Works great for my outdoor sink, drains amazing and the P trap functionality keeps the odours down
