If you are not a crafter that would regular use this machine yo emboss card or use cutting fies then thus is not the machine fir you and I would recommend looking St the brother range of personal printers such as a P-touch **Q: When you press the button to send the boards through the machine, does it go through easily or do you need to push still?** A: Hi, the boards gilo through easily. I sometimes give a sight push to ensure that the rollers have grasped the boards then they just go through on their own. A nice machine and good value for money. **Q: Can the (various) plates be easily bought for this machine? (Im thinking ahead, incase one or two become damaged or lost)** A: I'm not 100% sure but they are the same size as my old manual die cutter. I'm loving this cutter and to help keep my boards flat I sit them under the machine for storage as the weight flattens them. As long as you follow the instructions and put the right type of media in the correct order, and using the correct plate, it will come out perfect time and time again. Its very very simple to use and the end results are very professional looking. If there was a downside it would be that I might need an A4 sized machine. Other than that, I can't think of anything bad to say about this.
