Are the knives made fully of the coating or is it more of a decorative thing?

They are fully made of the coating. They are wonderful knives. They stay sharp for quite some time. I am glad that I bought them.

Is the coating non-toxic?

Not sure, but logically, as long as these knives have been out and that they are selling pot/pans sets with the same coating, that they wouldn't be toxic.

Anybody have experience with this companies limited warranty?

No, but I haven't needed it. I've bought 3 knives on separate orders over a couple of years and they've been excellent given the prices. I plan to get more.

The image shows four (4) knives but the description says three (3). How many knives are actually in this set?

It says 3 in the description and I received 3. I've had mine awhile and I don't recall it showing 4 in the pic so I don't know why they would have the wrong pic.
