I absolutely LOVE this product! I reluctantly spent the $79 (12 oz) but am SO GLAD I DID! I'm currently taking the recommended dosing for people with chronic conditions which is 1 Tbsp 3x daily. The morning and noon doses are taken 30 minutes before eating, and the P.M. dose is taken two hours after dinner or 30 minutes before bedtime. I plan to continue this schedule and regime for the first 4 weeks.Colostrum-LD is wonderful. I cannot tell you enough good things about this product. On day 3, I work up with refreshed, renewed energy. I really couldn't believe it. I had energy to do more housecleaning in that one day than I'd done combined in the past 6 months! Unfortunately, I overdid the day's activities and was quite sore the next day, but still it was worth it.About me: I am 57 yo, in general good health with a very healthy lifestyle and nutritional intake. I am a vegetarian and eat whole foods and organics about 99% of the time. Athough I enjoy overall good health, I've been suffering from fibromyalgia for almost 15 years. I am not on any pain meds or other big pharma drugs and rely solely on supplements and daily activity and light exercise to cope with the pain. Colostrum-LD has already made such a positive difference!I've been reading about colostrum's fantastic health effects overall. I also learned that there are only about three top-rated colostrum products, and Sovereign Laboratories is one of them. Primarily touted for leaky gut syndrome, which causes a host of illnesses and ailments, colostrum just seemed like something I should try (ergo the reluctance to test drive a nutraceutical for 79 bucks). I'm now completing my first week on it (at the higher dose mentioned above) and absolutely will not give it up. The healing benefits I've already noticed, aside from the higher levels of sustained energy, are a clearing complexion (adult acne drives me nuts!), healing patchy eczema on the bottoms of my feet, and overall better attitude toward each and every day! I no longer wake up and wonder how I'm going to get through all the chores and responsibilities of the day ahead. I sleep very well; however, I still take an herbal sleep remedy such as Valerian Root, Calm Forte or Lemon Balm Extract. I plan to give up the sleep remedy after two weeks, as well as my regular remedies for fatigue. I believe that Colostrum-LD is healing my body from the inside out. In summary, do your homework and research then choose a quality colostrum product like this one. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I began taking this about 3 weeks ago in an effort to help ongoing GI issues that I've had for over 12 years. I was never breast-fed as a child, and often sick, which prompted round after round of antibiotics early in life. While I believe these two facts set the stage for my future woes, my real digestive troubles began while I was vegan and a professional vegan pastry chef. Perhaps I developed a sensitivity to soy, or perhaps I tasted one too many of my cinnamon rolls. :) Whatever straw broke the camel's back, sometime in 2004 I developed massive reactions to almost all carbohydrates, and have suffered with SIBO, what seems to be FODMAPS intolerance, bloating, headaches, constant fatigue, joint pain, fibromyalgia and depression, ever since. My vegan diet shifted to a raw vegan diet, to a macrobiotic diet, to a low carb vegan diet, to gradually including raw goat dairy and eggs. I've gone through round after round of herbal antibiotic treatments and natural anti-inflammatories, trying to calm what doctors showed to be numerous autoimmune disease red flags. I even minored in herbal medicine, attempting to find a natural solution somewhere between diet and holistic antidotes. Relief came in bursts, but would quickly disappear.This colostrum is the closest thing I've come to constant relief. I take 1 Tbsp in about 6 ounces of water first thing in the morning, and last thing before bed. I felt my energy stabilize by about the second day. I actually wake up in the morning and feel like I've slept. I honestly feel as if my mood swings have stabilized, like the feeling of always running on empty that could quickly push me into being very reactionary has subsided a great deal. I feel more collected as a whole, and my headaches have gone away. My joint pain has decreased so much that I'm back to doing yoga 3 or 4 times a week, something I had stopped over the past 3 years due to my ongoing pain. My bloating has diminished so much that I am shocked to be able to eat healthy high-fiber foods like raw salads that I normally could not without looking 5 months pregnant. It has only been a few weeks, but I plan on continuing taking at least this current bag of Colostrum LD along with one more, and will report back if the benefits begin to subside. I have not gotten any bloodwork since I began taking it, so can't report on if my autoimmune antibodies have actually decreased, but I feel so much better that I would guess at least some of the decreased inflammation has to be measurable. For now, I am very thankful and happy to say this product has been of great help to me. I almost feel as good as I did before I broke my stomach living on antibiotics, vegan hot dogs, and soy cream pies for all those years!

In an effort to balance my digestion, I also wanted to ensure that I don't have issues around leaky gut. While I can't speak to other similar products Colostrum-LD strikes me as a quality product. This is my 2nd round with the product and I'm using it combination with probiotics and anti-microbials based on tests of what I would be sensitive to. I have Burning Mouth Syndrome and a high histamine intolerance. I believe that if I can balance my digestion and repair my gut these issues and the related effects would resolve. A number of the effects are similar to acid reflux.Highly recommend starting with a low dosage first thing in the morning. 1/4tsp for 3-5 days. Slowly increasing to the recommended 1tsp. and then add the evening dosage. Also starting with 1/4tsp. The product will/can kill bad bacteria which can give stomach flu like symptoms. My experience has been that when I didn't work up to it the feeling kept me from sleeping.They recommend at least 20 minutes before eating in the morning. I keep the morning dose in the bathroom so I cover the time while I'm getting dressed. The flavor is fine but you can add a drop of stevia or a bit of cocoa. I used Sweetleaf Vanilla creme initially since Sweetleaf doesn't cut their product with other sweeteners but have been able to do without any as the flavor is acceptable especially now that I reduced the amount of water from the 4-6oz recommended to 2-3oz (goes down quicker). I drink 2-3oz of water first and then the dose.

I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, IBS, intestinal parasites, Leaky Gut Syndrome, food intolerances, several nutritional deficiencies, absorption issues, low stomach acid, hypoglycemia, tachycardia and PVC’s. I also struggle with very low ferritin and Vitamin D levels and an extremely elevated cortisol level. The quality of my sleep is poor and I wake several times per night. I convinced myself that I had nothing to lose (besides more money) and ordered the Sovereign Labs Colostrum. I’ve been taking the product for exactly one month. The powder dissolves easily in water and has a very pleasant taste. (I ordered the Vanilla flavor.) I started with a very low dose and worked my way up to my current dose of a tablespoon upon waking and a tablespoon before bed. Within the first week, I noticed a measurable improvement in the frequency of my diarrhea. The urgency was also noticeably less and the cramping that often accompanies each of my episodes was much less severe. After the second week, the quality of my sleep improved and my mood and energy levels were better. I’ve even noticed a significant improvement in my skin. I haven’t felt this optimistic about a product and attaining my health goals in a very long time. I plan on continuing this product with the hope that continued use will result in continued improvement. I also plan on slowly increasing the dosage again to see if I can find relief for more of my symptoms. Overall, I feel so lucky to have stumbled across this product.

I have purchased Sovereign Labs colostrum three or four times now. I take a lot of supplements and it is often hard to say if a product is doing me any good; Sometimes my continuing to take something may depends on how strong I think the science is on its benefits. I have taken other brands of colostrum in the past, taken lots of it, without noticeable effect. When I started taking the SL colostrum there was an almost immediate, visible , undeniable effect which could be seen by others .There's no question in my mind that it is having an effect.Here's what it is: I am a woman in my 60's . For as long as I can remember my fingernails have been slow-growing, thin, weak, bendy, splitting,peeling. With so many real problems in the world I cannot say it was a source of sorrow to me, but it has often frustrated and annoyed me.All I could do was keep them brutally short. Within 2 weeks of starting to take the SL colostrum I noticed that I was having to cut my nails-fingers and toes-with unusual frequency (Didn't I just do that?). Taking a closer look at my nails I could see a line across the nails at the bottom , beyond which the nail looked different. For several weeks , however long it takes for a nail to grow out, I watched the lines move towards the ends of my fingers. When the "new" nail had completely replaced the old my nails were (are now) stronger, thicker than they have been in the past. Sovereign Labs is the only company that I have noticed addressing this issue.

This was purchased at the suggestion of our doctor to help support immunity and blood glucose issues. I was hesitant at first because 1) I don't take liquids:) and 2) we have tried many products, at the doctor's suggestion, with limited improvement. However, since I'm the one who mixes the product and not the one taking it:), I decided I'd place an order. It's pricey for sure, but I'm beginning to see that it is worth the price!The vanilla flavor smells quite pleasant, unlike some other concoctions we have endured over the years. It's a fine powder that mixes easily with water; the package does indicate other liquids can be used if desired. Since it is being taken twice a day I now mix it in a quart container and refrigerate so it can be poured when needed. A quick shake and it's ready to go. The person using it reports that it tastes great and is rather like a milkshake. (I suspect he is trying to tempt me!) Seriously, there have been zero complaints!It's too early to know whether it is helping stabilize the blood glucose levels, and as far as boosting immunity who knows? He hasn't had a cold or any other bug since starting the Colostrum, but that's not necessarily proof of immunity either. What is a nice surprise and a big bonus, however, is that persistent gastrointestinal issues that have plagued him for years are much improved! That in itself will make the product a keeper around here.On a practical note, I appreciate that the packaging is minimal and stores easily in the pantry without taking up too much real estate. All in all, this has been a very worthwhile purchase.

Too expensive but, too early to tell how well it works

My 6YO has multiple food allergies (eggs, nuts, fish) and was diagnosed with EE (eonosophilic esophogitis). Every month he would have severe vomiting spells that would last for hours. On top of that he was chronically constipated no matter what we did for his diet. Our pediatric gastroenterologist put him on acid blockers which helped. But as soon as we took him off of the acid blockers the vomiting spells return. I really believed we hadn't gotten to the root cause of the vomiting. We went to see an integrative health pediatrician who ran an extended allergy panel on my son. He recommended we follow a Leaky Gut protocol. We changed his diet to a gluten free diet and added Colustrum LD, IRM colostrum spray, digestive enzymes and probiotics to his diet. We are five months into this treatment protocol and my son hasn't had a single vomiting spell. He used to have barnacle like eczema on his hands and legs and that has completely disappeared. His skin is like a newborn's. What's more his bowel function is fantastic and his seasonal allergy symptoms have completely disappeared. I have no doubt that the new diet combined with the Colostrom-LD and probiotics have made all of the difference. I was initially worried that my son wouldn't like the flavor of the colostrum but he tolerates it well. It's worked so well for him that my husband and I are now taking it just for basic immune support. Finally, I was totally skeptical about this product and the leaky gut protocol in general. We had gone to so many doctors to help my son I thought I had exhausted pretty much all of our options. I told our integrative medicine pediatrician that my only regret is we didn't try colostrum LD and the Leaky Gut protocol sooner. I really do believe it's helped my son's body to heal itself and he is a much happier little boy. If you are considering whether to spend money to buy the product, I hope you'll consider it. Unlike a typical drug, it won't work over night but give it time and make the necessary changes and this product will help significantly. I've seen it first hand in the changes to my child's health.

its been about 3 weeks since I started taking this, 1 teaspoon on an empty stomach in the morning and 1 tsp at night before going to bed. I am starting to feel more energy and I don’t crave sugar at night like I normally do. I’ve suffered with acid reflux for about 7 years, I tried to stop taking my pills for 3 days to see if this would help but unfortunately it has not. Maybe with continued use I will see some improvement with that. Overall I am satisfied with this product and will continue to use it.

Sovereign Laboratories is very thorough with their follow up, sending articles and scientific research to back their claims. I had some questions which they answered promptly. It's been a month since I've been on the product and I've started noticing my immune system is improving. I'm not getting outbreaks and I had annoying pain that has since disappeared. Because of my health challenges, instead of the two teaspoons daily, I take two tablespoons. I tried another brand sold in Canada that was effective, but very expensive for a small bottle. Prior to purchasing Colostrum LD, I had researched other brands, checking out videos on YouTube and decided to go with this brand. Doug Wyatt, the founder of SL, conducted extensive and thorough research on colostrum and this sold me.There are so many supportive ingredients, nutrients, minerals, that you can get rid of a lot of your supplements. I highly recommend this product.

This is our second brand both were good, but because we can tolerate this, we are staying with this product. We think we sleep better, have less niggly aches, even a slight central shaking which is not noticeable to others has now gone. Also it seems to calm down a left sided chest 'ache' which Dr has ref'd for tests. And we think it improves our immunity and lowers Blood Pressure. (We have tried many health products but we rate this as the best.
