Just what I need to solve my water pressure problems
I installed a tankless hot water heater a bit ago and any time I was taking a shower and someone would start a load of clothes I would get a pressure drop and a bunch of cold water in my shower. The problem was the washer was flowing more water than the tankless heater was set up for hence the pressure drop and cold water. This unit restricts the flow going to the washing machine to 1.5 GPM which my water heater can keep up with. No more surprises when I'm taking a shower!

I measured water flow before the restrictor was installed @7.15GPMafter installing the restrictor water flow was 1.62GPM.

Perfect for Low Yield Wells
I use it to restrict the flow for outdoor use because I have a somewhat low yielding well. This does reduce the flow but there is still enough for a hose nozzle to create a good stream.

Helps reduce flow for filters or DI units
Reduces flow for a DI unit. With my water pressure it seems to be more than 1.5 GPM but it helps.
