No, the filter soak is only used to soak your filter for cleaning. What you may be asking about is the Water Treatment and Conditioner. It’s best to check with the dealer about what they recommend for a specific hot tub. I do use the Natural Hot Tub Company Water Treatment and Conditioner in my hot tub. Add it every 3 months as directed based on water capacity of your hot tub, then after using hot tub, at end of day, I add a teaspoon of Leisure Time Spa 56 Chlorinating Granules on the days I use my hot tub and every few days even if not used. No other chemicals are needed for my hot tub.
